As one of Florida's 42 Certified Domestic Violence Centers,Haven of Lake & Sumter Counties, Inc. was established in 1977 to meet the needs of domestic violence victims. Our primary objectives are to provide these victims with alternatives to abuse or life-threatening situations, and empowerment to establish a violence-free life.

The First Amendment Foundation believes that government openness and transparency is critical to citizen trust and involvement in our democratic society – without Government in the Sunshine, civic engagement cannot bloom. Through ongoing monitoring of the state’s public records and open meetings laws, and the education of government officials and the citizens they serve about those laws, the Foundation promotes the public’s constitutional right to oversee and to participate in the governance process.

CASA of the South Plains inspires, educates, and empowers solution-minded community members who are committed to supporting the best interest of children in the foster care system.Volunteer advocates create connections and promote nurturing relationships for the child and family, encouraging hope and healing.Through court appointment and collaborative efforts, volunteer advocates share informed recommendations for the well-being of the child.

Advancing the status of Arizona's women through research, advocacy and philanthropy. When a women's power and potential are respected, children and families are healthier, economies are stronger and communities prosper. At Arizona Foundation for Women, we amplify every woman's safety, health and financial needs so she can break free from the challenges, fear and bias that confine her.

Loved Ones Victims Services (LOVS) is dedicated to meeting the emotional and physical needs of family members and friends who have lost loved ones, often times to violence. Our primary objective is to provide individual family and group counseling for adults, teens, and children.

The goal of the Family Enhancement Center is to prevent child abuse and to promote healing among children who have experienced abuse.

We believe every person has a story and every story has value. We exist to empower communities to end the cycle of human trafficking by starting and supporting social enterprises that raise awareness, offer opportunities for economic independence for survivors and fund the fight against human trafficking. Currently Stories Foundation operates the Freedom Food Truck and Storyteller Catering. In the future we hope to operate a Cafe and sell food products. All with the goal of spreading awareness about human trafficking and empowering people to make a difference through purposeful purchasing as a first step

The mission of Hope House is to break the cycle of domestic violence by providing safe refuge and supportive services that educate and empower those impacted by domestic violence. Hope House will advocate social change that protects and engenders a person’s right to live a life free of abuse.

New Beginnings empowers survivors and mobilizes community awareness and action to end domestic violence.

Samaritan House helps people free themselves from domestic and sexual violence, human trafficking, and homelessness.
