Founded in 1984, Gumbo Limbo Nature Center is a unique cooperative project of the City of Boca Raton, the Greater Boca Raton Beach and Park District, Florida Atlantic University, and Friends of Gumbo Limbo. We are dedicated to inspire stewardship of our coastal and marine ecosystems through education, research, and conservation.

Through Education, research and rescue, Dolphin Research Center promotes peaceful coexistence, cooperation and communication between marine mammals, humans and the environment we share with the well-being of DRC’s animals taking precedence.

Kids Beating Cancer provides access to life-saving treatments through the science of cellular therapy and advancing pediatric innovative, novel, research, moving new discoveries to patient care, while supporting the children and their families throughout the journey to a cure. Science is the cure to saving children’s lives.

The Lemur Conservation Foundation is dedicated to the preservation and conservation of the primates of Madagascar through managed breeding, scientific research, education, and art.

The Florida Wildflower Foundation nurtures the awareness, understanding and enjoyment of Florida's native wildflowers through education, planting and research projects that increase the presence of wildflowers and support the wildlife depending upon them.

TO ADDRESS GEOLOGIC ASPECTS OF ISSUES DEALING WITH THE WORLD'S CHANGING ENERGY CHALLENGES, USES, SAFETY, POLICIES AND ASSOCIATED ENVIRONMENTAL QUESTIONS. TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY ON THE IMPORTANCE OF GEOLOGIC MAPS, CROSS SECTIONS, AND OTHER GEOLOGIC DATA & INTERPRETATIONS. TO ASSIST AND ADVISE VARIOUS GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES WITH INSTRUCTION AND SHARING GEOLOGIC DATA SETS AND INTERPREATIONS. TO PRESERVE GEOLOGIC MAPS AND CROSS SECTIONS, DIGITIZING THEM SO THAT THEY CAN BE PRESERVED IN THE GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS) FILES AND MADE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC VIA THE FOUNDATION'S WEB SITE.

GAPPS' Mission is to Improve Birth Outcomes Worldwide. Globally, prematurity is the leading cause of death for newborns. Additionally, each year a staggering 2.6 million infants die just minutes or hours before birth — and in many cases of stillbirth, the loss is compounded when the mother also dies. GAPPS is leading a collaborative, global effort to increase awareness and accelerate innovative research and interventions that will improve maternal, newborn and child health outcomes around the world.
