The Global Give Back Circle integrates Mentoring, Private Sector Engagement and Government and Local Community Support in a 'Circle of Empowerment' that guides an at-risk girl to complete her educational journey, gain employable skills, transition into the workplace and embrace the joys of Citizenship through Giving Back.

The Tekeshe Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization which focuses on empowering and restoring dignity and hope to the people in the rural areas of the Chipinge district in Zimbabwe by providing and promoting economic empowerment, advocating literacy and higher education for both boys and girls, while assisting AIDS/HIV patients and their families with social-economic help

Our mission is to connect young people to a world of career possibilities, inspire them to dream big, and empower them to fulfil their potential. We do this by operating as a hub for education and employer engagement: running events in schools and businesses, providing a mentoring programme for young people at risk, facilitating work experience placements, and promoting apprenticeships and other education or employment pathways to students, teachers and parents. By giving young people access to a wide range of professionals from their local business community, we help them make informed decisions about their future careers. We are particularly concerned that young people learn about opportunities with huge growth potential - like careers in STEM - and are challenged to achieve their full potential. We are actively working to address gender bias and create opportunities for all.

VirginiaFIRST is the Virginia-based affiliate of US FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), a non-profit international educational mentoring organization. VirginiaFIRST promotes FIRST's mission to: * inspire young people to be science and technology leaders by engaging them in exciting team-based, mentor-based programs that build skills in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM); * promote the spirit of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship; * foster well-rounded life capabilities; * help today's youth acquire the knowledge and skills needed to compete in the technologically-driven global economy; * encourage students (ages 6-18) to pursue studies in the sciences, engineering and technology at the college, graduate and post-graduate levels leading to careers in related technical fields. Education for All Girls in the Slums in Ghana

Mission: Improve our Affiliates research infrastructure in areas of mutual interest to NASA and the state of Maine; Encourage more students to consider careers in fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM); and Enhance NASA’s presence throughout the State of Maine.

To improve the quality of life of children, young people and women living in the slum through the provision of quality education, affordable housing, health care and socio economic empowerment Akili Girls Preparatory School strives to provide underprivileged girls in Kisumu County with affordable quality education that will help them to break the cycle of poverty. The project goal is to generate sufficient income through focussing on horticulture, poultry, dairy cows, and renewable energy systems so as to meet educational, nutritional and medical support needs of the girls we support. This project aims to support at least 200 orphans and vulnerable girls between 3 and 14 years by the year 2020. The primary target group are girls from the lowest income populations, particularly those who are affected by the prevalence of HIV/AIDS in Obunga slum and Obambo village in Kisumu County. We will enroll 5 fee paying students in every class to enable parents who are able to pay fees to participate in the education of needy girls. The strategy we have adopted to provide quality education to these girls is through the establishment of a boarding school known as Akili Girls Preparatory School which will provide holistic education that addresses both the physical and emotional needs of the girls while creating dignity through self-reliance
