Age Action's vision is that Ireland becomes the best place in the world in which to grow older. Our mission is 'to achieve fundamental change in the lives of all older people by empowering them to live full lives as actively engaged citizens and to secure their rights to comprehensive high quality services according to their changing needs'. Age Action's Getting Started programme is a learning and awareness programme encouraging older people to use computers and Internet. Ocean Alliance strives to increase public awareness of the importance of whale and ocean health through research and public education. We work with our scientific partners to collect a broad spectrum of data on whales and ocean life. Ocean Alliance uses this data to advise educators, policy makers, and the general public on wise stewardship of the oceans to mitigate pollution, prevent the collapse of marine mammal populations, and promote ocean and human health. The purpose of the Mars Society is to further the exploration and settlement of the planet Mars.
