The Society for Scientific Advancement (SoSA, thesosa.org) is dedicated to increasing scientific literacy and capacity in developing countries in the Caribbean, as a means for social advancement. We accomplish this by delivering educational programs, workshops and conferences for students at all levels, and local science personnel.

The Mission of the Nantucket Maria Mitchell Association is promotion of the legacy of Maria Mitchell and exploration, education and enjoyment of Nantucket’s land, waters and skies beyond. In fulfilling our mission we recognize the historic persona of Maria Mitchell, the foremost American woman scientist and educator of the 19th century, and her potential impact on contemporary thought by passing on her legacy of intellectual curiosity, respect for and love of nature, learning by doing, and the ideal of individualism. Maria Mitchell’s contributions to astronomy, science, and education are the basis for our continuing tradition of high quality research and teaching which inspires today’s learners and tomorrow’s scientists. The NMMA provides scientific resources and educational programs for the community, uses Nantucket Island as an exceptional natural laboratory in which to study science and the environment, and maintains research and/or representative collections of Nantucket’s biodiversity. We strive to delight our members, supporters, and visitors by providing high quality programs, services, and facilities. We strive to ensure our financial viability and the preservation of our buildings and important collections so that current and future generations can share in this legacy. We strive to collaborate with other institutions (both on- and off-island) to share relevant organizational assets to accomplish these objectives, obtain cost efficiencies, and reduce our impact on the environment.

The Mission of TECH CORPS' is three-fold and is achieved through: • PROGRAMS Bringing additional technology resources to K-12 students and teachers through national, state and local programs such as Computing Career Corps, E4Tech, High School Coding Camp, Student Code Corps, Student TECH CORPS, Student WEB CORPS, Techie Camp, and Techie Club. • PEOPLE Recruiting and supporting tech-savvy volunteers from the community to advise and assist schools and youth-serving nonprofit organizations in the integration of new technologies. • PARTNERS Increasing educational technology resources through partnerships with education, business, government and community.

To ensure American competitiveness in a flat world by leading and supporting the national effort to expand U.S. capability through increasing the number of successful African American, American Indian, and Latino young women and men in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and careers.

CodeCreate Technology Education at Resilience Partners provides dynamic and creative experiences for young people, educators and families, bringing innovative opportunities for learners to imagine, reflect, play and create! We empower learners through creative design experiences with everyday technology and the learner's own ideas: commands that students will retain every other time they see those tools across diverse areas of Chicago and several nations. CodeCreate guides participants in the creation and appreciation of intuitively based technology combined with artistic expressions, especially within basic circuitry, robotics and computer programming, media arts, illustration, 3D design and performing arts.

The purpose of the Mars Society is to further the exploration and settlement of the planet Mars. We work to educate the public, the media and the government on the benefits of exploring Mars and creating a permanent human presence on the Red Planet. In order to accomplish this, the organization actively seeks to:1. Organize public outreach with the aim of fostering a deep interest in Mars,2. Promote broad international support for government-funded Mars research and exploration, and3. Advocate the establishment of commercial space ventures that will help achieve Mars exploration and settlement.Society activities include Mars analog simulations in the Utah desert and the Canadian Arctic, public outreach and educational programs such as the MarsVR virtual reality simulations.

Network Time Foundation supports and advances accurate, precise network timekeeping by producing and stewarding open‑source timekeeping software (including the NTP reference implementation), promoting standards and education, and providing development/support services to help ensure reliable timestamps across systems.

The Global Give Back Circle integrates Mentoring, Private Sector Engagement and Government and Local Community Support in a 'Circle of Empowerment' that guides an at-risk girl to complete her educational journey, gain employable skills, transition into the workplace and embrace the joys of Citizenship through Giving Back.

To promote, encourage and project these principles in all its dimensions, within and beyond South Africa's borders. To benefit all of creation, in keeping with these principles, including service to plant, animal , environment and all of humanity irrespective of race, religion, colour, culture, political affiliation or geographical boundary. This service to be conducted in a non-judgemental manner. To uphold the dignity and honour of man, striving to make him self-sufficient and independent at the time of crisis or otherwise; (man refers to both genders where appropriate). To be gender sensitive and to take a special interest in the care of children , orphans , women , physically and mentally challenged individuals and the elderly . Without derogating from the generality of the aforegoing the activities of the Foundation , inter alia , include: Disaster management and humanitarian aid delivery in crises whether natural or man-made including floods, cyclones, hurricanes, earthquakes , tornado, accidents and war; Establishment of medical facilities , clinics and hospitals; Delivery of medicines and medical equipment; Establishment of feeding schemes, food parcel delivery and poverty relief programmes including assistance with burial and funeral arrangements, provision of new and used clothing, blankets and baby milk powder; Provision of boreholes, waterwells and water purification tablets; Provision of free telephonic and face-face counselling services in matters of depression, drug abuse, relationship problems, HIV/AIDS, marital discord, parenting, learning difficulties, teenage problems, child abuse, domestic violence, maintenance grants, etc. ; Establishment of Drug Rehab Centres and Havens for the abused; women and children in particular; Establishment of orphanages and old age homes; Provision of wheelchairs, hearing aids, braille machines and any such equipment and aids to assist physically and mentally challenged individuals; Provision of Life Skills training; empowerment counselling and skills in counselling; Establishment of skills development programmes, entrepreneul skills and job creation projects; Promoting South Africa as a means to encourage tourism, investment and further job creation initiatives; Provision of agricultural implements and Farmer's Packs (seeds, fertiliser , LAN, etc.) to promote food security and self sustainability; Establishment of educational institutions whether religious or secular; Provision of bursaries, textbooks, stationery, computers, technology workshops and other educational support; Establishment of places of worship including a tekke (meeting place for dervishes or disciples); Promotion of peace, tolerance, understanding, love, mercy and inter-faith dialopue between people, communities, cultures and religions; Promotion of faith, spirituality and religious awareness ; Establishment of community radio, television and media to assist with all the above principles; Support of artists who can promote all the above principles through song , writings, etc.

To bring world-class higher education in developing nations and help to retain talents within the community. We provide hands-on opportunities and global exposure to students with limited resources and create a unique ecosystem fostering research, innovation and entrepreneurship by partnering with some of the best institutions and corporations in the world.

The Society advances public understanding of science by publishing Science News, running world‑class pre‑college science competitions (e.g., Regeneron STS, Regeneron ISEF, Broadcom MASTERS), and funding outreach and educator programs to expand STEM access and scientific literacy for students and the broader public.

The mission of Fins Attached is to conduct research, promote conservation, and provide education for the protection of the marine ecosystem.   We believe in the preservation of our world's precious resources and that, through the protection of the oceans apex predators, marine ecosystem balance can be maintained for the benefit of all living things on earth.
