The mission of Project Angel Food is to nourish the body and spirit of men, women, and children affected by HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses. Our goal is to make sure no one in our community suffers the ravages of hunger and malnutrition while struggling with serious illnesses. Without our daily meal deliveries, clients risk malnutrition and deteriorating health since they are unable to provide their own meals. Project Angel Food acts with urgency as hunger and illness do not wait.

COMMUNITY HELP IN PARK SLOPE, INC. ("CHIPS") IS A NONSECTARIAN, VOLUNTARY, COMMUNITY-BASED NEW YORK NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION CHARTERED IN 1977. ITS MISSION IS TWOFOLD: TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND TEMPORARY HOUSING TO NEW AND EXPECTANT MOTHERS, AND TO FEED THOSE IN NEED THROUGH THEIR FOOD PANTRY AND SOUP KITCHEN.

3Generations is a storytelling organization. We support those who have suffered crimes against humanity by enabling them to share their stories. Told in their own words, survivors’ stories cross borders, conflicts and generations. We believe storytelling fosters the healing process and illuminates our common humanity. Hearing survivors’ stories allows people everywhere to better understand the violence and oppression in the world today and demand change. We utilize available technology and distribution channels to collect and share survivors’ stories.

Chai Lifeline’s guiding principles are: That seriously ill children need and deserve as happy and normal a childhood as possible; That illness affects each member of the family; That the well-being of an ill child is impacted by the well-being of his or her family; That pediatric illness can have a devastating financial effect on families. With this in mind, Chai Lifeline strives to: Find ways to bring joy to the lives of our young patients and their families through creative, innovative, and effective family-focused programs, activities, and services; Engender hope and optimism in children, families, and communities; Educate and involve communities in caring for ill children and their families; Provide unparalleled support throughout the child’s illness, recovery and beyond; Build communities among children and families living with illness or loss that allow them to engage, strengthen, and encourage one another; Offer all services free of charge to ensure that every family has access to the programs it needs.

Golden Heart Ranch (GHR) provides young adults with intellectual and development disabilities opportunities to reach their fullest potentials and enjoy meaningful, satisfying and joyful lives. We are an inclusive community where all young adults learn, work and create lifelong friendships in a supportive and caring environment.

The Interfaith Food Pantry is a community of neighbors helping neighbors committed to ending hunger and supporting self-sufficiency. Through our community partners we provide food, education and resources to inspire confidence and hope to Morris County families in need.

The Council for Economic Education (CEE) is the leading organization in the United States that focuses on the economic and financial education of students from kindergarten through high school. For the past 60 years, of our mission has been to instill in young people the fourth “R”—a real-world understanding of economics and personal finance. We carry out our mission by providing professional development to teachers, teaching resources across the curriculum and nationally-normed assessment tools. We deliver our programs through in-person local workshops, partner organizations and online. It is only by acquiring economic and financial literacy that children can learn that there are better options for a life well lived, will be able to see opportunity on their horizon line and, ultimately, can grow into successful and productive adults capable of making informed and responsible decisions.

Sankara Eye Society, Coimbatore was started in India in 1977. This trust had the philanthropic philosophy of providing high quality health care, especially eye care to all, either free or at an affordable cost. In 1998, Sankara Eye Foundation was established to support the work of Sankara Eye Society. Our mission is to attain 20/20 by the year 2020.
