Worldwide, around 60 million children have no access to primary education and roughly 387 million children are unable to acquire basic skills, despite attending school (Global Education Monitoring Report, UNESCO, 2017). It is our vision to create a world in which every child can read and write. Since 2006, Visions for Children e.V. has been committed to ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to obtain a basic education with which they can acquire basic skills. We particularly build on and contribute to the fourth sustainability goal of the United Nations' Agenda 2030 - namely to ensure an equitable and high-quality education. We believe schools to be anchor points that give children the chance of a self-determined future by means of capacity building within the entire region.

To achieve sustainable improvements in the lives of street and vulnerable children in James Town and any other areas in which we operate. We resolved that our work is done closely with the children, their families, the schools they attend and the community through advocacy, educational support, complimentary education services, small scale enterprises and locals self-led and capitalized microfinance.

JFCU advocates for and supports the rights and needs of children affected by all forms of violence and/or whose right to education has been denied. Special attention is given to children heading households and those affected by child marriage and armed conflict.

NAC’s mission is to provide innovative high quality services in support of birth, foster, and adoptive families caring primarily for medically complex children. NAC’s mission includes children with severe physical, emotional, and behavioral challenges and developmental disabilities. NAC’s services enable children to remain in or to be returned to their families whenever possible or to be adopted by loving families. Working primarily with children whose birth families live in poverty, NAC’s continuum of services ensures that children’s physical, social, educational, recreational, medical, and mental healthcare needs are met.

At Safetynet Children & Youth Charities, we believe to break the cycles of poverty, families and children must have the basics. For that reason we have a clothing bank, and non-perishable food bank. Our clothing bank carries clothing for infants, children, youth and adults, including business suits for men our woman who are re-entering the work force and need proper attire for employment interviews. We also have on hand non-perishable foods, toiletries, diapers, formula, dishes and other of the day to day necessities. Safetynet also believes in the value of education, and continuing education in breaking the cycles of poverty. We provide free of cost one to one academic tutoring for children and youth, who are struggling in school.With that tutoring we mentor children and youth in the value of an education. Safetynet is pleased to announce its new musical tutoring. Volunteers are now teaching children, who have a interest or aptitude in music, piano, and guitar free of charge.

Voices for Illinois Children champions the full developement of every child in Illinois to assure the future well-being of everyone in the state.  We work with families, communities and policymakers on all issues to help children grow up happy, healthy, nurtured, safe and well educated.

Dignity for Children Foundation aims to empower marginalised and underprivileged urban poor children to break the cycle of poverty through quality education, positively transforming their lives and the lives of the community around them. Dignity achieves this by establishing high quality learning centres; implementing specialised learning environments to develop children academically and socially thus empowering them to become productive members of society. Started 26 years ago in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur with only 20 students Dignity is now a learning centre with more than 2,000 children ranging from 2-18 years old enrolled annually. It provides quality education and care in a secure environment for pre-school to Form 5. From Toddler to Primary, the Montessori method of education is used, and Cambridge IGCSE 'O' level for the Secondary students. Together with the academic components, Dignity teaches employability skills through its Transformational Enterprise program. Massachusetts Advocates for Children’s mission is to remove barriers to educational and life opportunities for children and youth.We do so by advocating for and partnering with students and families; transforming school cultures to be inclusive, safe and supportive; and creating systemic change so all children and youth can learn, reach their potential, and thrive.We focus our advocacy on children and youth who face significant barriers, inequities, and/or discrimination because of their economic status, disability, race, ethnicity/culture, immigration status, English Learner status, and/or traumatic life experiences.
