Ennis Center for Children provides foster care, adoption, delinquency intervention and outpatient counseling to abused, neglected and at-risk youth across southeast Michigan. The organization works to preserve families when possible and to place children in safe, permanent homes when needed, while recruiting and supporting foster and adoptive families.

Rainbows for All Children supports all youth as they navigate grief and heal from loss, whether from death, divorce, deployment, or other trauma. Rainbows for All Children fosters awareness that youth require support to heal. We nurture a community of effective Rainbows-trained Facilitators, supported with a repository of resources designed to guide youth in their grieving process.

For Love of Children is a 501(c)(3), community-based nonprofit organization that has been working with young people and their families in Washington, D.C. since 1965. FLOC’s mission is to provide educational services beyond the classroom to help DC students succeed from first grade through college and career. FLOC leverages a network of professional staff, trained volunteers, engaged families, and active community partners to teach, empower, and transform students’ lives. Almost 600 students access FLOC’s after-school, weekend and summer programs at public schools across DC, in FLOC’s headquarters in Ward 1, and at FLOC’s Outdoor Education Center in West Virginia.

Founded in 2003, Safe Families for Children (Safe Families) surrounds families in crisis with caring, compassionate community. We are a nonprofit, volunteer movement that provides hope and support to families in our local communities. Located in 70 cities across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and beyond, we are motivated by compassion to keep children safe and out of foster care.

Suncoast Charities for Children raises funds through public events and other fundraising activities and uses those proceeds to provide grants and support to local nonprofit agencies that serve children, teens, and adults with special needs. Their work also funds the Suncoast Foundation and helps maintain facilities used by partner agencies so program dollars can stay focused on services.

Empowering Children and Families was born out of experience working with children and families whose needs weren’t being met. A dedicated and compassionate group of people decided to join forces and build an organization to help kids and families. It was and is the right thing to do. Our mission is to help children and families construct and sustain a healthy foundation for the future. We do this by taking the time to establish trust and build a collaborative relationship. Many parents are too afraid to ask for help and if they do, they cycle through program after program with little to no progress. ECF makes a difference with families by providing a comprehensive “roadmap” unique to each family’s strengths and challenges that is culturally responsive.

New Hope for Children, a registered DBA of New Hope Christian Services, is a Hague-accredited, Russia-accredited, licensed non-profit adoption agency existing to provide HOPE to orphaned children worldwide by finding their forever families throughout the USA with the highest of ethical standards. We are committed to building the strongest of families by providing emotional support and guidance through the entire adoption process, including post-adoption.

At any given time, there are thousands of impoverished, orphaned or abandoned children fighting just to survive in the unforgiving streets and desperately poor rural regions of Honduras. Their existence is bleak. It's defined by hunger, violence, drug abuse, prostitution and exploitation. It's an existence of fear, heartache and despair. But it doesn't have to be that way. With the help of our fellow Canadians and our Honduran partner Sociedad Amigos de los Niños, Friends of Honduran Children has set out to rescue these children and give them what they urgently need - a home and a future – helping them to transform themselves from victims of poverty, abuse and crime into functioning, independent, self-reliant, contributing members of society.

Friends of the Children is a national nonprofit with the mission of impacting generational change by empowering youth who are facing the greatest obstacles through relationships with professional mentors – 12+ years, no matter what.
