Established in 2005, The GEANCO Foundation saves and transforms lives in Africa. We conduct complex surgical missions and run an innovative program to fight anemia in Nigeria. Through our system of modern, solar-powered rural maternal clinics, we help poor, vulnerable pregnant women safely deliver healthy babies. In addition to donating laptops, tablets, books, medicine and sports facilities to schools, our David Oyelowo Leadership Scholarship for Girls provides full tuition, healthcare, and social & psychological support to young female survivors of terrorism and gender inequality in Nigeria. In 2007, the Playing for Change Foundation was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created to inspire, connect, and bring peace to the world through music. Our mission is to create positive change through music and arts education. 15 music programs have been created in Bangladesh, Brazil, Ghana, Mali, Nepal, Rwanda, South Africa, Morocco, Mexico, Argentina and Thailand. More than 2,000 young people attend free classes in dance, instruments, languages and musical theory, all taught by qualified local teachers. Learning music has been shown to increase self-esteem and foster resilience, which is critically important to children who are vulnerable due to poverty, conflict, drugs, and neglect.

The Adaptive Sports Foundation's mission is to provides profound and life changing experiences for individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities through outdoor physical activity, education, support, and community.

Share Our Strength®, a national nonprofit, is ending childhood hunger in America by connecting children with the nutritious food they need to lead healthy, active lives.  Through its No Kid Hungry® Campaign, Share Our Strength ensures children in need are enrolled in effective federal nutrition programs; invests in local anti-hunger organizations; teaches families how to cook healthy, affordable meals; and builds coalitions to end childhood hunger, at the state and city level.

No Kid Hungry is a national campaign run by Share Our Strength, a nonprofit working to solve problems of hunger and poverty in the United States and around the world. After 25 years of successfully investing in local nonprofits and helping find the best approaches to eradicating poverty and hunger, Share Our Strength launched No Kid Hungry in 2010. Though ending childhood hunger is the organization’s primary focus, Share Our Strength continues to invest in and develop other campaigns.

Maui Food Bank's mission is to help the hungry in Maui County by collecting and distributing food through community partnerships.

The Akshaya Patra Foundation's (“TAPF”) mission is to address childhood hunger and malnutrition in India simultaneously and to increase underprivileged children's access to education. TAPF's vision is that no child shall be deprived of education because of hunger. The Sanskrit words “Akshaya Patra,” meaning inexhaustible vessel, aptly reflects the organization's aspirations to provide unlimited food to underprivileged children and mitigate their sufferings. The organization's long-term goal is to replicate this model throughout India and the world. Our partnership with the Government of India and various State Governments, along with the persistent support from corporates, individual donors, and well-wishers have helped us to grow from serving just 1,500 children in 5 schools in 2000 to serving 2 million children. Today, Akshaya Patra is the world’s largest (not-for-profit run) Mid-Day Meal Program serving wholesome food every school day to over 2 million children from 22,000 schools across 14 states & 2 Union territory of India.

The Foundation's goal is to provide the ultimate environment for a child to become their best in all areas of their life, including academic, athletic, interpersonal skills, leadership, as a mentor, and someone willing to be mentored. They hope to arm children with a variety of ways to grow intellectually, spiritually, physically, and in their relationships with themselves and others. Their program is designed to go deeper into the subjects of life, excellence, and how to pursue happiness. In the end, our long-term goal is to help them become professionals in life, to find peace of mind, so they can share this wisdom with their families, friends, and communities as leaders and examples of extraordinary living and happiness.
