Our mission is to inspire and empower the youth of Monterey County to realize their full potential to become responsible, healthy, productive and successful citizens.

To save and enhance the lives of the young people of our community, especially those with economic and/or social needs, by offering a safe haven and meaningful youth development programs provided by a caring and qualified staff.

Every program or activity we offer helps build self-esteem. Our goal is to develop young people who will make the right choices in their physical, educational, personal, social, emotional and vocational lives.

Our After School programs operate Monday-Friday 3:00-6:00pm for children and youth aged 6-17 years. Our Culture of leadership partners our youth mentors with our staff in promoting a safe bully free envirnoment that is inclusive and supports individuality. The staff value, respect and accept each member and provide a safe welcoming environment.

BGCP provides after‑school, summer, and school‑day programs in partnership with local schools to give children and teens from under‑resourced neighborhoods equitable access to academic support, enrichment, and career‑readiness opportunities so they can succeed in school and beyond.

THE ORGANIZATION SERVES TO PROVIDE DIVERSIFIED ACTIVITIES FOR AREA YOUTH. THESE CORE PROGRAMS INCLUDE CHARACTER AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, EDUCATION AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT, HEALTH AND LIFE SKILLS, THE ARTS AND SPORTS, FITNESS AND RECREATION.

To provide safe, affordable after‑school and youth programs that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, leadership, character and citizenship for children and teens in Tulare County.

The club provides year‑round after‑school, summer and youth‑development programming that aims to inspire and enable community youth—especially those who need it most—to reach their full potential as healthy, productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Programs emphasize arts & technology, health & athletics, and career readiness/life skills.
