Jitegemee, which means “sustain yourself” in Kiswahili, is a grassroots nonprofit that provides formal and vocational education to street children and destitute youth in Kenya. Jitegemee is dedicated to removing the obstacles that prevent street children from attaining their educational goals.

The Humane Society Of Rochester And Monroe County for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Inc. was founded in 1873. Since the 1950's the Society has been known as Lollypop Farm, its name coming from the then popular Shirley Temple song - On the Good Ship Lollipop. Our mission is to build lifelong bonds between people and animals through education, community outreach programs, and the prevention of cruelty.  We envision a time when our community celebrates the human-animal bond; embraces the mutual benefits therein; and treats all fellow beings with care, compassion and respect.

The American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) champions the latest and most authoritative scientific research from around the world on cancer prevention and survival through diet, weight and physical activity, so that we can help people make informed lifestyle choices to reduce their cancer risk.

The Hip-Hop Summit Youth Council uses hip‑hop culture and community partnerships to empower young people socially, politically, and economically. They run youth summits, education and prevention projects, and outreach programs aimed at reducing violence and improving life‑skills and opportunities for youth in Queens and beyond.

The National Alliance to End Homelessness is a nonpartisan organization committed to preventing and ending homelessness in the United States. The Alliance analyzes data and research so that policymakers, practitioners, and the public have the best information about trends in homelessness and emerging solutions. The Alliance also provides capacity-building assistance to help communities turn policy solutions and proven best practices into viable, on-the-ground programs.

The Carter Center, in partnership with Emory University, is guided by a fundamental commitment to human rights and the alleviation of human suffering; it seeks to prevent and resolve conflicts, enhance freedom and democracy, and improve health. SafeSpace (Safespace Inc.) provides crisis intervention, emergency shelter and advocacy for adult survivors of domestic violence and their children across Florida’s Treasure Coast (Indian River, Martin and St. Lucie counties). The organization operates a 24/7 hotline, emergency shelters, legal advocacy, counseling and prevention/education programs to help survivors achieve safety and independence; services are provided free to those who seek help.

To provide a neighborhood learning center for school-age children served by Title I (federally subsidized) public schools, especially in areas experiencing underperformance in academic, behavior and social skills. We provide a positive volunteer team of parents and neighbors to assist in scheduled activities and sponsored events to improve skills, lessen the dependence on government programs, thwart neighborhood tensions, prevent community deterioration, and deter juvenile delinquency
