Girls On The Run Of St Louis

To positively impact girls across the Greater St. Louis community through our unique program that combines health and wellness education with a goal-oriented running program.  Our goal is to prepare and educate girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living during their critical years of development (i.e. ages 8-14).  The program is designed to empower young girls to believe in themselves and embrace their full potential as they become young adults.  We are a non-profit organization supported by the St. Louis community that is financially responsible to ensure long term growth and sustainability.

Boys and Girls Club of Saint John

The Boys and Girls Club of Saint John, Inc. is a voluntary, non-profit United Way agency serving hundreds of children and youth and their families every year. The Club was recognized as the first Boys and Girls Club in Canada in 1900 and has been operating at our current location since 1954. Through our numerous programs and services, the Club has significantly altered the life outcomes for tens of thousands of Saint John youth and their families. Our Boys and Girls Club serves over 2,200 children and youth from several hundred families in the greater Saint John area annually, providing them with a safe, supportive place where they can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life. Our Club offers affordable, relevant and accessible programs during critical out-of-school hours when children and youth are most at risk. Approximately 40% of our youth are from families led by single parents.
