Women of the Shield is organized to service the law enforcement community by empowering and resourcing women in law enforcement and the men who support them, while advocating for and equipping women interested in entering the criminal justice field.

To rescue and rehabilitate Arunthathiyar Dalit families from bonded labour, stand up against social injustice, to train women with sustainable vocational skills, and help them attain economic independence , access to quality education ,and healthcare facilities.

Women at Risk, International (WAR) unites and educates to create circles of protection and hope around those at risk through culturally sensitive value-added intervention projects. WAR works with partners in over 70 countries to help those at risk live and work with dignity and hope.

The mission and purpose of NLBWA-LA meets the needs of the rapid growth and ranks of Latina entrepreneurs and corporate professionals to encourage Latinas to develop their business and professional skills and to meet their career goals through education, business referrals and networking by building relationships.
