Around the world, modern and industrialized farming practices are destroying the environment—and, at the same time, failing to provide reliable income and nourishment for the farmers we all depend on to survive. At Trees for the Future (TREES), we recognize that unsustainable land use is the root cause of our most pressing challenges. We confront these challenges by serving the people at the heart of our global food systems: farmers and their families. As a global leader in agroforestry training for over 30 years, TREES provides hands-on, immersive education, skill building, and support, encouraging farmers to work with nature, not against it. Our signature methodology, the Forest Garden Approach, helps farmers transform their land with thousands of fast-growing, ecologically appropriate trees and dozens of other crops, creating new possibilities for themselves and their communities. By embracing sustainable land practices, farmers are reclaiming their agency, breaking the cycles of climate change and generational poverty, and rebuilding our food systems from the ground up.

Maui Food Bank's mission is to help the hungry in Maui County by collecting and distributing food through community partnerships.

Advocates for Children and Families, Inc. (ACF) was founded in 1992 to provide ethical adoption services to children and families. Throughout our 30 years of operation there have been many changes in legislation and advances in the evidence-based social sciences related to adoption, that have influenced our model of practice. One aspect of our work that has never changed is ACF's child-centered approach of prioritizing the well-being of children. Our mission is to promote and assist in the formation of stable families. The well-being of children is our priority. We believe every child deserves a permanent home in a safe, nurturing environment.  Our team is comprised of attorneys, licensed mental health professionals, and support staff who are specially trained and continually engaged in advancements within the field of child welfare and adoption. Our mission is to educate and empower youth and young adults in the bicycle mechanic and specialty coffee service industries. Our vision is to see kids develop agency and flourish within positive relationships, healthy lifestyles, and skill development. Our goal is to combine industry leading programs and community networks to foster the next generation of riders, young professionals, and community leaders. Our why is that many of our youth face systemic challenges in moving forward toward dreams. By creating strategic partnerships and dynamic solutions barriers in the bike world and Native Reservation can be overcome. Since 2018 Silver Stallion has established or helped establish 14 middle school mountain bike P.E. programs in the region with Outride "Riding 4 Focus." Along with that effort the Stallion started the Gallup and Navajo-Diné Composite NICA middle and high school mountain bike teams Since 2019, in partnership and with continued support from Durango Devo, Silver Stallion established DEVO/CLUB Rides program with Gallup McKinley County Schools now taking place at 4 middle schools on the Navajo Nation (Thoreau, Crownpoint, Tohatchi, Navajo). During the Pandemic Silver Stallion established “Big Blue” Mobile Ride Center truck providing Free Bike Repair events, Park Tool School Education and Free Bikes 4 Kidz distribution in remote communities throughout the Navajo Nation. Silver Stallion is partnered with Project Bike Tech establishing and supporting high school mechanic programs throughout the region.

For over 30 years, Best Friends Animal Society has been running the nation’s largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals and building effective programs that reduce the number of animals entering shelters. The mission of Best Friends Animal Society is to bring about a time when there are No More Homeless Pets. The organization does this by helping end the killing in America's animal shelters through building community programs and partnerships all across the United States.

YGB specializes in finding permanent families for young adults, teens, and pre-teens in foster care. We believe that no child should age out of the foster care system without the support and love of a family. Whether that means helping youth reconnect to their families of origin, to other people who have played a role in their lives, or to new families that will make a new commitment to be there for life. We recruit, train, certify and license parents who are willing to make an unconditional lifetime commitment. Likewise, we commit to providing ongoing support for our families for as long as they need. To honor his legacy, Discovery Inc. established the The Willie Garson Fund at You Gotta Believe to support our work of connecting every child in foster care to a loving family that commits to being there for life.
