OICA creates awareness, takes action, and changes policy on behalf of children and youth. Our mission and statewide leadership role is based on the belief that all children need to be: safe, healthy, and heard. 

Old Newsboys' Goodfellow Fund Of Detroit was founded in 1914 by James Brady to ensure that "No Kiddie Goes Without a Christmas" by providing a package containing clothing, books and toys.  Over 35,000 children receive packages each holiday season.

Our Kids provides medical evaluations and crisis counseling services for children and caregivers when there are allegations or concerns of child sexual abuse. Our Kids is committed to increasing community awareness, conducting research and offering education and training about child maltreatment.

French Camp Academy is an interdenominational Christian boarding school for deserving young people founded in 1855. Long before public schools, a group of Scotch-Irish Christians established a school at French Camp on the Natchez Trace. Through God's grace and the support of dedicated Christians of all denominations, the school has continued without interruption for over 100 years. In 1950, French Camp Academy was reorganized and put under the ownership and operation of an incorporated Board of Trustees. It was also given a new purpose-to providing a Christian school-home for children with family problems not of their own making. By and large, French Camp Academy takes in young people who, for one reason or another, cannot or will not stay at home. On a beautiful 1,200-acre campus, French Camp Academy provides a stable home environment where children can know they are loved and accepted. FCA's educational program is fully accredited for grades 9-12, and has a non-sectarian Christian emphasis. The French Camp Mission Statement states: French Camp Academy strives to provide young people with the confronting, compassionate, non-compromising love of our Lord, Jesus Christ in a Christian School-Home; integrating faith and learning by encouraging everyone, as we work and worship together "to love God with all our hearts . . . and our neighbors as ourselves."

To be a valuable voluntary service organization for America's veteran and military community by providing comprehensive therapeutic intervention through creative arts activities.  This is done by integrating Help Hospitalized Veterans' arts and crafts kit program into VA, state veterans nursing home and military medical facilities worldwide.
