Smile Train

Smile Train is an international children’s charity with a sustainable approach to a single, solvable problem: cleft lip and palate. Millions of children in developing countries with unrepaired clefts live in shame, but more importantly, have difficulty eating, breathing and speaking. Cleft repair surgery is simple, and the transformation is immediate. Our sustainable model provides training and funding to empower local doctors in 85+ developing countries to provide 100%-free cleft repair surgery in their communities. We use the “teach a man to fish” model focusing on training local doctors to perform cleft repairs in their communities. Those doctors then go on to train other doctors creating a long-term, sustainable system. Patients see their smile for the first time, parents cry tears of joy, lives and communities are changed forever. As a result of our efficiency and with the support of our donors and partners around the world, Smile Train has transformed the lives of more than one million children by giving them the power of a smile -- that's roughly 350 surgeries a day and 128,000+ every year.

Pink Phurree Dragon Boat Team

As cancer survivors, we embrace the moment and show the world that there can be a purposeful life after a cancer diagnoses. PINK PHURREE (pronounced "fury"), Texas' first all women and cancer survivor dragon Boat Team, was founded by Frances Arzu' in 2007. PINK PHURREE, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is an unconventional cancer support group where dragon boat paddling is used to promote active survivorship both on and off the water. As members of the International Breast Cancer Survivor Paddler Commission, we are a breast cancer survivor team. Even so, we do encourage survivors that have been diagnosed with other types of cancer to join our crew as well. As Pink Phurree embraces new survivors, the journey continues to expand our ability to touch and enrich many lives. No experience or athletic ability required!

United Military Care

Since 2012, United Military Care has stood alongside Veterans and Military Families across Georgia. We have served more than 25,000 people over the years, building a community rooted in resilience, hope, and belonging. Our programs are built around a simple conviction: the people who served this country deserve more than a thank you. They deserve real support, practical resources, and a community that shows up. Our programs connect Veterans and Military Families to programs that work for them, wellness resources, and meaningful outreach. Through We CARE Vet Fair™ events, 1:1 Emergency Response, our Field Ready Vets program, the Georgia Veterans Network, and more, we walk alongside our Veterans as they build self-sufficient, thriving lives. Veterans are not just clients we serve. They are our neighbors, valuable problem solvers, and community builders. Our job is to honor that by making sure they have everything they need to thrive. Your support funds programs that meet real needs, strengthen Georgia communities, and ensure that no Veteran or Military Family navigates the road ahead alone. Strong communities. Strategic service. Veterans and families first.
