Teach For Bulgaria is part of the international Teach For All network, consisting of 36 non-profit organisations with a shared vision of expanding educational opportunity in their countries. The mission of Teach For Bulgaria is to encourage and prepare capable and ambitious young people to become inspiring teachers and leaders in order to facilitate the access to quality education for every child in Bulgaria. Our goal is for every child in Bulgaria to receive a quality education, regardless of region, type of school, or socio-economic situation. Every child in the country should learn from teachers who support their students and help them unleash their full potential. So far since its establishment Teach For Bulgaria has placed 150 teachers, reaching more than 10000 students. Currently, 110 young and motivating teachers are working with 8000 students in 7 regions in Bulgaria.

AIMS The main aims of the organisation are: To make a serious and sustainable impact upon impoverished communities by tackling both the causes and effects of poverty To assist street children and young people from less fortunate families in their personal development To work in partnership with local schools, communities and organisations to facilitate social change To assist with the advancement of education in Nepal, formal and informal for street children. Up On Top, a racially diverse free tuition after school and summer program offers hope, stability, and fun to children of low-income families in San Francisco, preparing them to be successful in school and in life. Up On Top supports families by providing children an enriching free tuition after-school and summer program with low student/teacher ratios, including academic support, social skills, art, music, and nutrition.

826DC is dedicated to supporting students ages 6-18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. Our services are structured around our understanding that great leaps in learning can happen with one-on-one attention and that strong writing skills are fundamental to future success. 826DC was founded in fall 2008, and in late-2009, became affiliated with 826 National, the network of nonprofits co-founded by award-winning author Dave Eggers.
