FEED AND HELP NEEDY FAMILIES

Barker provides lifelong, child-centered adoption services and counseling across the adoption “constellation” (birth parents, adoptees, and adoptive families). The agency offers no-cost crisis pregnancy counseling, domestic and international adoption programs, foster-care/older-child placement, and ongoing post-adoption support to promote safe, permanent, and loving families.

PROVIDES VARIOUS PROGRAM ACTIVITES FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS WHICH HELP PERSONS TO DEVELOP MORAL PERSONALITIES AND TO AID IN BUILDING A SOCIETY THROUGH THE IMPROVEMENT OF PHYSICAL, MENTAL, SOCIAL, MORAL, AND EDUCATIONAL CONDITIONS OF PERSONS WHO PARTICIPATE IN THESE ACTIVITES.

LifeLine Pilots coordinates free air transportation, through volunteer pilots, for passengers with medical or humanitarian needs far from home. Our vision is a world where every person has equal access to transportation for healthcare and humanitarian needs.

Gilda’s Club provides free social and emotional support for people affected by cancer through an evidence‑based clubhouse model. Its programs — professionally guided support groups, education, healthy‑lifestyle classes, social opportunities and information & referral — aim to reduce isolation and help members cope across the cancer journey.

Make‑A‑Wish Foundation of Maine creates life‑changing wishes for children with critical illnesses in Maine, working with volunteers, donors, and partners to provide hope, strength, and joy through individualized wish experiences.

The mission of the Florida Baptist Children’s Homes is to provide Christ-centered services to children and families in need.

YWCA Minneapolis works to eliminate racism and empower women and girls while promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. It delivers this through equity-centered programs and advocacy in racial justice, early childhood education, youth development and wellness to strengthen individuals and communities across the Twin Cities.

Reach Out and Read Colorado gives young children a foundation for success by incorporating books into pediatric care and encouraging families to read aloud together.

Martha’s Mission Cupboard is a volunteer-run food pantry that provides immediate, nutritious food and hygiene assistance to individuals and families in crisis in Carteret County. The organization focuses on preserving dignity and resilience by distributing balanced groceries (including fresh and shelf-stable items) to referred households and supporting children with age-appropriate food packs.

Gilda’s Club Chicago provides free emotional, social, and educational support programs for anyone affected by cancer — patients, caregivers, family and friends — with the aim of reducing isolation and strengthening community through groups, workshops, and wellness activities.
