(WORD) is one of Missoula’s longest established and most experienced non-profit organizations. Since our founding in 1986, WORD has spearheaded, supported and participated with organizations, agencies and individuals who are committed to building community in Missoula. Vision: At WORD we envision a socially just world where each person is valued and all are empowered to fulfill their potential. We aim to build, through collective action, the socioeconomic, cultural and political conditions that ensure equality, independence and full participation for all. We believe that these conditions are indispensable to the health and sustainability of families, communities and society as a whole. Mission: WORD creates opportunities, programs and policies that inspire and support women’s development, leadership and choice, for the benefit of our entire community. Our programs promote women’s access to stable housing, adequate income, personal/career development, family/school involvement and the creation of policies for social change.

We provide life-affirming services to women and men facing unplanned pregnancy. We don't do or refer for abortion, but everyone, regardless of pregnancy intentions are treated with love and respect. Our programs serve men and women. ComfortCare is designed to provide holistic care. We believe the spiritual, emotional, and relational parts of individuals making pregnancy decisions are just as important as the physical. Our services reflect this belief. We provide pregnancy confirmation, medical consultations, STI testing, and peer counseling on pregnancy options for the mind and heart. Our services also include KISSN - an abstinence program geared toward teens; Connections - a weekly parenting enrichment class; and HEART, a Bible study for women with an abortion decision in their past.

Women's Resource Center (WRC) is dedicated to stopping domestic violence and sexual assault by rebuilding lives together. We believe ALL people deserve to live a life free from the crimes of domestic violence and sexual assault. Those who are victims of these crimes should have access to services that assist them in recovering from their trauma and moving forward in their lives. WRC is dedicated to providing the highest quality supportive services, counseling, shelter and education to women, men and children involved in or threatened by domestic violence or sexual assault.

We believe that all human beings deserve to have stable housing and to live full and productive lives. The Women’s Daytime Drop-In Center empowers women and children to move from the streets to a home by providing a safe daytime refuge. We provide essential services such as hot meals, groceries and provide hygiene supplies, diapers, housing resource counseling, case management and domestic violence services, a variety of referral services, and transitional housing for five single parent families. We are a Housing Resource center for Berkeley, Albany and Emeryville families. We also connect our families and single unhoused women with other local and regional community resources whose services may fall out of our scope. All of our efforts broaden our client's sense of expanded community support. We are uplifted daily by the many spontaneous conversations among our clients as they wait in line at our hospitality window for our essential services. Community and resource connection is key to emerging from homelessness.

The Women’s Center of Montgomery County (WCMC) is a volunteer, community organization with a primary focus on freedom from domestic violence and other forms of abuse. Their programs, policies and procedures reflect their strong commitment to empowering women. Their organizational purpose is to eliminate domestic violence so that individuals can live safer, more stable lives and thrive. Through their programs and services, they work to save lives, promote self-sufficiency, create institutional change and reduce the impact of domestic violence. Secondary goals include providing enrichment opportunities for the staff and volunteers; promoting positive change toward gender equality; and building our capacity by increasing volunteerism, funding and awareness.

Our mission is to lead the effort in preventing domestic violence and sexual assault through crisis intervention, assistance, advocacy, empowerment and social change.

For more than 25 years, WHEDco has been a leader in creating thriving neighborhoods in the South Bronx. Latin American Women's Aid Refuge (LAWA) is a dedicated UK charity led by and for Latin American and other black and ethnic minority women that empowers and supports women and children experiencing domestic violence to start a new life and play a fuller role in the community. We do this by offering emergency accommodation along with a range of services designed to ensure high quality of service provision. Founded in 1986, LAWA has 29 years of experience successfully running the only refuge in the UK and Europe to Latin American women and children in their native language. We also provide comprehensive, culturally sensitive and holistic advice, including family and community outreach work in other areas of London. Our Mission: Latin American and other Spanish /Portuguese speaking BME women and their children working together to end violence and achieve self determination. Our Vision: A world in which all women and children are free from violence and oppression and achieve self-determination

The mission of the East Los Angeles Women's Center is to provide services to women and children, focusing on sexual, domestic, and family violence and hiv/aids. We work to empower and give hope to individuals, families and the community at large with an emphasis on bilingual/bicultural services for the Latino community.
