At the Children's Cancer Association (CCA) we empower all seriously ill children to express themselves, to play, and to make meaningful connections by enriching their treatment experience and improving their well-being with joy-based programs. Every moment is precious for seriously ill children and their families. Each year, we reach nearly 40,000 hospitalized children across the country — inviting them to sing, laugh, and play out loud — in order to find joy during life’s most challenging moments. Offered at no cost, our JoyRx Music, Nature and Mentorship programs prioritize the emotional well-being of hospitalized kids.

The P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative is a nonprofit 501(C)(3). The mission of P.U.N.T. is to provide critical and comprehensive financial, emotional and practical support to families facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis and to serve as a source of hope and healing for the bereaved.

ASK is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1975 by a small group of parents whose children had cancer. They came together to provide mutual support, search for answers, and deal with the devastating news no parent ever wants to hear: “Your child has cancer.” With 1-2 children diagnosed per week in Central VA, your donation will be a great help to our small, local nonprofit dedicated to making life better for children with cancer. Your support will help to provide emotional, social, financial and educational care to children with cancer who are treated at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU, the only treatment facility for childhood cancer in Central Virginia. ASK provides children, siblings, and caregivers with support from the moment of diagnosis through treatment to survivorship or bereavement.

Wipeout Cancer is dedicated to providing kids-living- with-cancer and their families the opportunity to participate in activities (primarily sports) in a safe, fun, and non-competitive environment, regardless of their existing treatment and care regimes.

Can Do Cancer works to improve and enhance the lives of breast cancer patients undergoing treatment. We provide four core services to breast cancer patients: informational website, a patient partner (breast cancer survivor) for support and to help with questions, housecleaning, and meals

Cops 4 Cancer organizes events to raise money for families that have been impacted by cancer.

At Lazarex Cancer Foundation, we strive to improve cancer health outcomes, FDA cancer clinical trial diversity and enrollment, and patient access to care by providing assistance with clinical trial navigation, reimbursing trial related travel costs, and partnering with at-risk communities to mobilize resources.

The Children's Cancer Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving families of children who have cancer or chronic blood disorders with emotional, financial, and educational support necessary to cope with their life-threatening illness.

COURAGE THRU CANCER IS A COMMUNAL SITE FOR ANYONE WHOSE LIFE HAS BEEN TOUCHED BY CANCER. THIS SITE IS NOT TRYING TO RAISE MONEY FOR CURES FOR ANY SPECIFIC TYPE OF CANCER. THIS SITE IS CREATED TO INSPIRE AND ENCOURAGE THOSE WHOSE LIVES HAVE BEEN TURNED UPSIDE DOWN BY THIS DISEASE. THROUGH THIS WEBSITE, WE HAVE CREATED A VEHICLE WHERE ANYONE CAN ENTER A STORY ABOUT A FRIEND OR LOVED ONE'S BATTLE AND SHARE HOW THEIR FIGHT IMPACTED OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES. OUR GOAL IS TO CREATE A LIVING TRIBUTE TO ANYONE FACING THESE BATTLES AND ENSURE THEIR STORY WILL BE TOLD. IF ONE PERSON IS TOUCHED BY A STORY THAT THEY READ AND GIVES THEM THE ROADMAP ON HOW TO FIGHT AND IMPACT OTHERS THROUGH THEIR FIGHT, THEN THIS SITE'S GOAL WILL BE A SUCCESS.

Connecting families affected by childhood cancer by providing opportunities that encourage relationships and strengthen community. CCC provides 60 annual programs that fall into three main program categories: My Journey Series (hospital based programs), support programs and outings, and our six Camp Heart Connection camps.

CRC is rooted in hope, a place where you can find your fight or enjoy a reprieve, discover community and a shared purpose. Where our focus is on healing, not disease, and our integrative therapies treat the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. We welcome cancer survivors of all stages, family members of all ages, and our compassionate caregivers and health care providers. We are a brave, strong, dynamic community.

The North Carolina Cancer Association is a company that prides itself of educating cancer patients. The North Carolina Cancer Association was developed to help cancer patients become more informed about cancer. By doing this, we will education patients about their resourcess and meet any support needs that we can provide. By doing this, we will help those diagnosed with cancer feel at ease with the journey that they are about to go through.
