Zimkids Orphan Foundation was created to underpin the presents and bolster the futures of orphan children in Zimbabwe. As a publicly supported, non-profit organization, a 501(c)(3) under U.S. law, we collaborate with carefully-vetted Zimbabwean organizations and provide funding for food, education, vocational training, medical care, and the psychosocial needs of the orphaned children by: - Paying school fees - Providing food and nutritional supplements - Facilitating the services of a volunteer physician and paying for needed testing and medication - Funding university scholarships - Creating opportunities for growth-building recreation - Establishing and maintaining vocational training programs - Providing business education, textbooks, computers and other educational materials -
Founded in 1921, Soroptimist International of the Americas is an international organization for business and professional women who provide volunteer service to their communities. About 45,000 Soroptimists in 20 countries and territories contribute time and financial support to community-based and international projects benefiting women and girls. Soroptimist International of the Americas is part of Soroptimist International, which comprises almost 95,000 members in about 120 countries.The name, Soroptimist, means 'best for women,' and that's what the organization strives to achieve. Soroptimists are women at their best working to help other women to be their best.Soroptimist members belong to local clubs, which determine the focus of service to their communities. Club projects range from renovating domestic violence shelters, to providing mammograms to low-income women, to sponsoring self-esteem workshops for teenage girls. In addition, Soroptimists participate in organization-wide programs that include the Women's Opportunity Awards, Soroptimist Club Grants for Women and Girls, the Soroptimist Workplace Campaign to End Domestic Violence, the Making a Difference for Women Award and the Violet Richardson Award. Soroptimist International has consultative status with the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council, which oversees U.N. activities promoting human rights. Baal Dan Charities was formed to support the basic needs and social welfare of impoverished children (mostly orphans and street children) in Asia, Africa, North America and South America, and to promote their welfare. Given the vast number of impoverished children in these regions, Baal Dan’s initial work and presence was focused on India from 2006 to 2012. Baal Dan expanded globally in 2013, the charity maintained its commitment to providing aid for grassroots organizations that need support and through providing education as a means to break the cycle of poverty.

Project Aid & Rescue is a team of international volunteers that have come together to alleviate the suffering of the Ukrainian people by providing aid and resources to those in need. Whether that is by providing hotel rooms for recent refugees; medicines, food, and supplies to those still inside Ukraine; evacuations of those who no longer have a safe place to live; or tactical first aid supplies, Project Aid & Rescue works with its partners, volunteers and donors to provide the needed humanitarian aid and support.
