Improve immigrant lives through English education and unite communities across cultures

The organization works to strengthen and support the Haitian community in Indiana by promoting social wellbeing, education and cultural awareness. It runs youth and language/education programs, community workshops and cultural events (for example Haitian Flag Day) to help Haitian residents integrate, access services, and preserve Haitian culture.

The Refugee and Immigrant Assistant Center's mission is to promote cultural, educational and socioeconomic development in the refugee and immigrant community.

Launched by a coalition of immigrant service providers and advocates, the UndocuFund for Fire Relief in Sonoma County provides direct assistance to undocumented victims of the Northern California fires. The Fund’s mission is to support undocumented children, families, and communities affected by the fires in Sonoma County to recover and rebuild. One hundred percent of all donations will go to victim support. Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees, a national nonprofit headquartered in Sebastopol, serves as the fiscal agent for the fund. GCIR and the other partners will cover the fund’s administrative costs.

IIE’s mission is to advance international education and access to education worldwide. We accomplish this by: • managing scholarships, training, exchange and leadership programs • conducting research and facilitating policy dialogue on global higher education • protecting scholarship around the world

Creating Friendships for Peace, Inc. is a volunteer grassroots organization whose mission is to promote and strengthen friendships between teens from divided communities and extend those friendships to their families and friends. The friendships are developed through homestays with American families. Each family hosts two teens – one from each side of a conflict. The teen pair shares a bedroom and learns about each other, understanding their different perspectives and realizing that friendships can develop despite significant political and cultural differences. With friendship, an atmosphere is created that allows for mutual respect and understanding – a key ingredient for peace. CFP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the United States. Our volunteers were active in Northern Ireland from 1987 until 2007. We are currently active in Cyprus since 2009 and in Israel/Palestine since 2018. In our efforts to maintain neutrality, we do not accept government funding and rely solely on gifts from individuals, charitable foundations, and businesses who wish to make a difference for peace in the world. Ring of Hope is a non-profit organization combining sports, mentorship, and career training to create unique programs for underprivileged women and youth.

The PRC's mission is to provide first connections to young children and their families. We aim to provide early education enrichment opportunities at affordable prices to all of our community's families. Operating in an economically and culturally diverse area, the PRC brings families together in a supportive environment where parents and caregivers can share the joys and challenges of raising young children while their children play, experiment and learn in a safe and nurturing environment.

International Sephardic Education Foundation's mission is to narrow Israel's socio-economic gap through higher education its unique methodology combines scholarship support for gifted young people from disadvantaged backgrounds with community service, leaders hip training, and social conscience-building.
