Northern Illinois Justice for Our Neighbors' mission is to provide free, high quality immigration legal services, education and advocacy around immigration issues.

Hearts and Homes for Refugees (HHR) is a non-profit grassroots humanitarian group in Westchester County, New York. Our mission is to support those U.S. Department of State approved agencies that welcome, protect and advocate for refugees in our communities. We are a growing network of volunteers — families and neighbors, community organizations, and people of goodwill from all faith and civic groups. We offer our talents, time, and expertise to identify and utilize resources that will offer hope and help to refugees, in keeping with the time-honored American practice of welcoming newcomers. We hope to inspire, educate and motivate others to do the same.

Sacred Heart Center connects Latino families in Richmond with education, basic needs, and family-support services. They provide adult education (ESL, GED, citizenship), youth and early-learning programs, and wraparound community services to promote social and economic integration and leadership.

GLAHR organizes, educates, and trains Latino immigrant communities across Georgia to defend and advance their civil and human rights. The organization builds grassroots leadership, operates community hotlines and meetings, and mobilizes people for policy advocacy and community defense against discrimination and deportation.

Provides journalists with quick access to information about Palestine and the Palestinians, as well as expert sources, both in the United States and in the Middle East.

The purpose of the American friends of the Israel Democracy Institute, Inc. is to promote and support in the United States and elsewhere, the nonpartisan analysis, study and research on government and economic reform conducted by a nonprofit charitable and educational. 

Mission: That every girl gets the education she needs to better her life, her community, and her world. Vision: To educate and empower Kenya’s next generation of community leaders. Daraja is a secondary boarding school established for Kenyan girls with top academic scores and exceptional leadership skills but no means of continuing their education. Beyond a full scholarship and academic rigor, the academy provides shelter, food, healthcare and counseling services so students may focus on their academic and personal potential without the everyday barriers they would otherwise face. Our groundbreaking educational model has generated a community of students filled with intellectual curiosity and a hunger to learn.

To catalyze systems that eliminate root causes of war.

MLT is a national nonprofit organization tackling the underlying, but typically overlooked economic levers critical to advancing racial equity and social justice in America. By expanding economic mobility and transforming the career trajectories of people of color, while also standardizing and scaling racially equitable employer practices, MLT closes the racial wealth gaps that underpin the broader inequities that have continually plagued communities of color.MLT is working to ensure that people of color are able to thrive, not just survive.

Working Narratives uses the power of narratives to support social justice movements. We work with movements to tell great stories that inspire, activate and enliven our democracy. We believe that social movements thrive and win when they draw on participants’ personal experiences and local cultures. By telling stories—in the form of performance, radio, video or other media—movements build power, envision new democratic possibilities and change culture and policy.

Mission: To reduce violence globally using disease control and behavior change methods. Cure Violence is guided by clear understandings that violence is a health issue, that individuals and communities can change for the better, that community partners and strategic partnerships are keys to success, and that rigorous, scientific, professional ways of working are essential for effectiveness.

Indian Fine Arts Academy of San Diego is a non-profit community based organization with the mission of promoting Indian classical music,dance,and arts in San Diego and in our neighboring communities (http://indianfineartsacademy.org).
