ReEstablish Richmond connects refugees and newly arrived immigrants in the Richmond, VA area to services and community supports so they can establish roots and become self-sufficient. They provide culturally sensitive navigation, education and volunteer-supported programs (e.g., language, job-readiness, transportation and sewing/job training) that help newcomers integrate while maintaining ties to their home cultures.

Global Connections Foundation enables individuals to develop financial independence and build resilient communities in the underserved and under-resourced village of Nyanchonori, Kenya, by creating access to opportunities and resources, tools and knowledge to achieve their educational, professional, and entrepreneurial goals. Our Vision is to give all those with motivation to succeed, access to resources, training and support to become economically self-sustaining through entrepreneurship and employment.

Founded in 1959, Sister Cities of Los Angeles, Inc. (SCOLA) is a diplomatic platform for the City of Los Angeles that seeks to promote cooperation and direct engagement with its global partners on issues of mutual interest, particularly around business and commerce, tourism, education, and culture. As the leading diplomatic organization of Los Angeles, SCOLA facilitates and builds important global relationships that support the city and region’s urban agenda.

Proudly founded by ethnic Chinese refugees, Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) is led by many prominent individuals from the Asian American community. Our purpose is to serve the needs, promote the interests, and enhance the well-being of low-income, diverse immigrant and refugee communities across metropolitan Chicagothrough social services, advocacy, educational programming and assistance for youth, adults, the elderly and small businesses.

The Irish International Immigrant Center assists immigrants from Ireland and from around the world as they integrate into American society, and with partner organizations, promotes reconciliation in Ireland. We are a vibrant welcome center that provides legal, wellness and education services, advocates for systemic change, and facilitates cross-cultural community building. Our vision is of a shared society where all people are welcomed and valued and enjoy equal opportunities, and protections.

The National Peace Corps Association connects and champions Peace Corps community members in “bringing the world home.” Our Goals: *Develop essential networks and information resources for and about the Peace Corps community. *Provide National Peace Corps Association members and Groups with service and education opportunities that build on their Peace Corps experience and values. *Advocate for the Peace Corps and its values and for critical issues identified by National Peace Corps Association members.

Haiti Cultural Exchange (HCX) was launched in 2009 to develop, present and promote the cultural expressions of the Haitian people. We raise awareness of social issues and foster cultural understanding and appreciation through programs in the arts, education and public affairs. HCX programs aim to: attract and educate those interested in Haitian artistic expression; create a platform for emerging artists; and provide a space where Haitians can build community and connect with others interested in Haiti, its culture and heritage. We have a strong track record of collaboration with cultural, educational and preservation organizations across New York City. We offer Haitian artists unique opportunities to present their work to broad audiences, especially through our partnerships with community organizations like MoCADA, the Brooklyn Museum, and Five Myles Gallery. We have developed a rich offering of cultural programs including: An n’ Pale, a monthly lecture and discussion series; Ti Atis Youth Programs with PS 189; and a new film series providing diverse audiences with vital opportunities to explore Haitian culture. Our work has been recognized by the Union Square Awards and the Citizens Committee, among others, for representing the positive side of Haitian culture and encouraging cross-cultural exchanges among Haitians and the broader NYC community. In rural communities in Haiti, farmers come together to help their neighbors plant their fields in a traditional farming cooperative effort called a Konbit—a collaborative community effort to ensure the largest possible harvest for all community members. Just as the Haitian Konbit brings people together for the common cause of planting the land, HCX seeks to bring together people, ideas, and communities to grow their understanding of and involvement with Haitian culture.

Interfaith Peace-Builders fosters a network of active individuals who understand the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the US role in it. To nurture this network, we lead delegations of people from diverse backgrounds to Israel/Palestine. These delegations emphasize learning from those immersed in the reality of the conflict and advancing the work of Israelis and Palestinians committed to nonviolent struggle and peace with justice. We empower delegates to educate their local communities upon return and advocate for a more just US foreign policy.

Vietnamese Voluntary Foundation, Inc. (VIVO) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, community based organization. We provide comprehensive acculturation, employment, health and human support, senior and family services to Santa Clara and San Joaquin county residents. We assist refugees/immigrants and low income ethnic families through our bilingual/bi-cultural services which include programs such as youth & family programs, senior program, health education, ESL, citizenship classes, computer skills training, employment placement, community advocacy and other services.

Making the Impossible Possible, Inc. (MIPO, Inc.), a 501c3 organization dedicated to promoting the quality of life of immigrant youth and their families, residing in the New York metropolitan area, through a variety of activities. Projects range from mentoring and providing scholarships to high school graduating seniors to distributing school supplies, supporting schools in Haiti with short and long term projects, partnering with organizations to provide CPR & AED training, and conducting professional development training for educators in Haiti. Future projects include building a Science Lab, a Computer Lab and providing first responder certification training.
