BELONG NC empowers refugees to lead and engage in the community through opportunities that promote education, employment, connections, and belonging. Driven by the belief that everyone belongs in the community, we serve vulnerable populations by bridging education, language, opportunity, neighbors, and global awareness (BELONG). BELONG NC is an opportunity for the local community to collectively sponsor, partner, engage, and advocate on behalf of our global neighbors.

Daraja is a secondary boarding school established for Kenyan girls with top academic scores and exceptional leadership skills but no means of continuing their education. Beyond a full scholarship and academic rigor, the academy provides shelter, food, healthcare and counseling services so students may focus on their academic and personal potential without the everyday barriers they would otherwise face. ReEstablish Richmond connects refugees and newly arrived immigrants in the Richmond, VA area to services and community supports so they can establish roots and become self-sufficient. They provide culturally sensitive navigation, education and volunteer-supported programs (e.g., language, job-readiness, transportation and sewing/job training) that help newcomers integrate while maintaining ties to their home cultures.

The mission of IRIS is to enable refugees and other displaced people to establish new lives, regain hope, and contribute to the vitality of Connecticut’s communities. Refugees are men, women and children who fled their countries of origin due to persecution on the basis of their race, nationality, religious belief, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group. According to international law, refugees are those who have a "well-founded fear of persecution" and are unable to return to their countries without risking violence to themselves and their families, including torture and death. They are granted special immigration status according to international law. Each year the US government invites a small number of them to start new lives, or "resettle," in this country. The front-line work of resettlement is done by local agencies like IRIS. IRIS works intensively with refugees, particularly during the first year of their resettlement, to help them build lives of their own choosing in the US. IRIS also serves the larger immigrant community through its Food Pantry. Through outreach, advocacy, and public events, IRIS educates the community about the refugee experience and issues of national and international importance that touch all of our lives.

Founded in 1962, Centro Cívico Cultural Dominicano (CCCD) is the oldest Dominican organization in the nation. MISSION: To educate and empower the community to preserve the Dominican culture. VISION: An educated, empowered and respected community that enhances and is proud of its culture.

The Nation Institute's primary exempt purpose is to undertake and support activities with an emphasis on the independent media, civil liberties, social justice and peace. 

OneVoice is an international grassroots movement that amplifies the voice of mainstream Israelis and Palestinians, empowering them to propel their elected representatives toward the two-state solution. The Movement works to forge consensus for conflict resolution and build a human infrastructure capable of mobilizing the people toward a negotiated, comprehensive and permanent agreement between Israel and Palestine that ends the occupation, ensures security and peace for both sides, and solves all final-status issues in accordance with international law and previous bilateral agreements. The 1967 borders form the basis for the establishment of an independent, viable Palestinian state, with permanent borders and any modifications to be agreed upon by both parties. The Movement recognizes that violence by either side will never be a means to end the conflict.
