Hands of Peace is an interfaith organization that empowers young people to raise their voices as leaders of change. Through the power of dialogue, Palestinians, Israelis and Americans partner to pursue peace, equality, freedom and justice. Hands of Peace believes the future depends on the leadership of the next generation.

The America-Israel Friendship League (AIFL) has been building and mobilizing grassroots support for Israel and strengthening the relationship between the two countries through people-to-people activities for 50 years. By sending Leadership Delegations to Israel, conducting outreach to program alumni and other interested parties, engaging in Pastor/ Educator Seminars, and hosting an annual Youth Ambassador Student Exchange (YASE), AIFL continues the vision of its founders. These leaders sought to promote a strong and enduring friendship and cooperative bond between Americans and Israelis of all ages, faiths, ethnic backgrounds and political orientations. Mission Statement Beyond making friends, our mission is aimed towards increasing Americans’ understanding of the contemporary Israel story – its entrepreneurship, culture, medical research, environmental protection initiatives, and so much more. This is a story unknown to most Americans because the media almost always presents Israel principally through the lens of the Israeli- Palestinian conflict. Broadening that lens is critical to building greater support for Israel.

The Institute helps immigrants and refugees (New Americans) in Minnesota gain stability and self‑sufficiency by offering refugee resettlement, immigration and citizenship assistance, free English and job‑training programs, and workforce/leadership development. Driven by the Jewish value of "welcoming the stranger," HIAS Pennsylvania provides legal, resettlement, citizenship, and supportive services to immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers from all backgrounds in order to ensure their fair treatment and full integration into American society. Euphrates believes that healing the divide between the West and the Middle East in the post-9/11 era can only be achieved through educating Americans to know more about the Middle East, and then taking grassroots actions that will create the broad-based foundation of support needed for policy changes towards the region. 

Founded in 1961, Global Connections' mission is to foster intercultural understanding and to build a strong, inclusive community across cultures through service, education, advocacy, and partnerships. We do so by providing essential support for internationals, offering rich cultural sharing and learning opportunities to local American residents, and connecting people from different cultural backgrounds for meaningful relationships.

Proudly founded by ethnic Chinese refugees, Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) is led by many prominent individuals from the Asian American community. Our purpose is to serve the needs, promote the interests, and enhance the well-being of low-income, diverse immigrant and refugee communities across metropolitan Chicagothrough social services, advocacy, educational programming and assistance for youth, adults, the elderly and small businesses.

The Irish International Immigrant Center assists immigrants from Ireland and from around the world as they integrate into American society, and with partner organizations, promotes reconciliation in Ireland. We are a vibrant welcome center that provides legal, wellness and education services, advocates for systemic change, and facilitates cross-cultural community building. Our vision is of a shared society where all people are welcomed and valued and enjoy equal opportunities, and protections.

BECA exists to promote cultural exchange and provide affordable bilingual education. In our volunteer-driven bilingual school model, Central American students learn from dedicated volunteer teachers, and those volunteers learn from the community in which they are immersed. Providing educational access and empowerment to the most financially disadvantaged members of a community is a defining characteristic of our program; it should come as no surprise that "beca" means scholarship in Spanish.

EERC mission is to facilitate communication and forge friendships between students from Romania and USA. We believe that exposure to other cultures is invaluable in shaping the younger generation views of the world and of their own potential in positive and enduring ways. We create opportunity for middle school students from Romania to experience American life by attending overnight camps or living with a local family while attending local day camps. This experience opens further opportunities for them to pursue when they return home. Equally important is to present these vibrant young people as ambassadors of the Romanian culture. In our experience, the Americans whose lives they touch find these interactions enriching and gain new insights about other cultures. These shared experiences produce benefits to both sides that extend long beyond the immediate experience, even to subsequent interactions that occur beyond our program. We select students who demonstrate the intellectual and emotional maturity to benefit from this unique opportunity. They are boys and girls from various areas of Romania who are fluent in English and who demonstrate strong academic and personal characteristics. With our help, this rising generation will be engaging in a world without borders. We bring the world closer to home.
