Per Scholas' mission is to open doors to technology careers for individuals from often overlooked communities. We envision a future where individuals from any community can access well-paying career positions, and where talent is recognized and recruited from many diverse sources. Our formula is simple: We partner with the largest IT employers and learn everything we can about the jobs they need to fill. Then we invest in talented young people and adults who can effectively use our free, high-quality job training and support services: first to get those jobs, and then advance in them.

The Jewish Labor Committee, an independent secular 501(c)3 organization, is the voice of the Jewish community in the labor movement and the voice of the labor movement in the Jewish community. A Very Special Place, Inc., founded in 1974, provides a comprehensive network of programs and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Programs and services offered include various day programs, evening and weekend recreation programs, residential services, respite services, in-home habilitation services, and various support services for individuals and their families. With the guidance and support offered at AVSP, people of all ages find opportunities to achieve independence and self-fulfillment and are thus empowered to lead fuller lives.

STRIVE's mission is to help people acquire the life-changing skills and attitudes needed to overcome challenging circumstances, find sustained employment, and become valuable contributors to their families, their employers, and their communities. STRIVE is committed to serving the hardest-to-employ, most at-risk individuals. These include the long-term unemployed, the formerly incarcerated, disconnected youth, recovering addicts, public assistance recipients, veterans, the homeless, and the working poor.

The mission of Lifestyles for the Disabled is to provide quality learning experiences that will enable all consumers regardless of their present disabilities to become productive members of society and live their lives with dignity and as independently as possible.

The mission of Dress for Success Worcester is “to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing the network of support, the professional attire and the tools to help women thrive in their work and in their life.” We provide a continuum of educational programs and support services as well as professional apparel year-round to women throughout Central Massachusetts. These services create a successful transition into the workforce and support ongoing progress towards self-sufficiency and economic independence. We know that it is through meaningful and long-term employment that women will achieve economic success, stabilize their families, and strengthen our communities.

Heartisans provides a customized job readiness program as well as life skills and mentoring to homeless and unemployed women living in the local community so they can provide for their families' needs and become contributing members of the community.

Established in 2014, the Wounded Warrior Umpire Academy's mission is to provide instruction, training, placement and peer to peer support for military veterans interested in baseball.
