The mission of Dress for Success Worcester is “to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing the network of support, the professional attire and the tools to help women thrive in their work and in their life.” We provide a continuum of educational programs and support services as well as professional apparel year-round to women throughout Central Massachusetts. These services create a successful transition into the workforce and support ongoing progress towards self-sufficiency and economic independence. We know that it is through meaningful and long-term employment that women will achieve economic success, stabilize their families, and strengthen our communities.
The Gender Equality Law Center (GELC) is a 501(c)(3) Brooklyn-based non-profit law and advocacy center committed to advancing laws and policies that promote gender justice and racial equity in all aspects of public and private life. Using an intersectional lens, we break down barriers that limit opportunities for low-income women, LGBTQ and gender non-conforming individuals on the basis of gender and/or sexual orientation as well those that are created by institutionalized discrimination and stereotyping. In order to bring about the most effective change, we use a unique blend of strategies, including: 1) direct legal services and impact litigation; 2) community focused trainings and organizing; and 3) legislative and systemic policy advocacy.

We inspire hope in women and older adults for a joyful and fulfilling future. We do this by teaching women the skills they need to earn living-wage careers in the construction trades, and by providing hands-on training through our repair and renovation work for older adults who want to safely and comfortably age-in-place in their own homes.

To provide roof reconstruction and related vocational training to residents of underserved communities throughout Puerto Rico. PRoTechos was founded with the dual mission of rebuilding damaged roofs in underserved communities throughout the island while providing residents with basic carpentry training, addressing both housing needs and the shortage of skilled construction workers in Puerto Rico.
The organization is dedicated to serving those most in need in our community - the disabled, the handicapped, the poor and the distressed. Our programs address homelessness and abandonment with housing and care.
