The mission of Brain Injury Services, Inc. is to improve the lives of people who are affected by brain injury through community-based services, education and advocacy. The purpose of adapt clubhouse is to encourage an atmosphere of many possibilities and provide an environment where members work together supporting and encouraging each other. Members gain vocation skills, increase their level of independence, and social skills. Staff and members work together in a cooperative work ordered day experience.

Culinary arts teaches problem-solving, creativity, innovation, time management, and analytical skills. Knowing how to boil water and cook an egg is not enough. True power comes in preparing, cooking, presenting, and serving a meal to others. We believe confidence in the kitchen leads to confidence in the workplace. That’s why we’ve been saying, “Yes, Chef!” to young culinary hopefuls for nearly four decades. Through our programs and vast network of industry partners, we are creating clear pathways for the next generation of sous chefs, executive chefs, hospitality workers, hoteliers, restaurateurs, and food entrepreneurs.

Women in Games International (WIGI) works to increase economic equity and representation in the global games industry by supporting women, femme-identifying, and nonbinary professionals. It runs mentorships, workshops, networking events, and programs that reduce barriers to career advancement and expand access to industry opportunities.

Redwood guides children and adults with severe and multiple disabilities to achieve independence and reach their highest potential throughout their lives, by providing enriching educational, therapeutic, and vocational services. At Redwood, children and adults flourish, prosper, and are empowered to achieve the quality of life they deserve.

Fundacion Via Cocina is a community based project focused on improving the health and economic development of vulnerable women, youth and underprivileged in Medellin Colombia. With a personalized training and mentoring system sharing healthy food recipes, cooking techniques and applied financial planning and entrepreneurial small business fundamentals, we build a program for individuals and families based on their current reality, applying the training to objectives created with them, for them, in their own home. Additionally, we provide classes to individuals and groups who want to learn to cook healthy dishes with local ingredients for their families, transforming them into uncommon flavors that are low in fat, oil, salt and sugar-free. These activities look to decrease frequency and severity of non-communicable diseases in the communities, including obesity, diabetes and cholesterol.

Entrepreneurs du Monde, founded in 1998, is a French public interest association which works with populations in developing countries. The organisation helps thousands of women and men living in extremely difficult circumstances to improve their living conditions, by supporting their own entrepreneurial ventures and giving them access to products which can bring significant health, economic and environmental benefits. Entrepreneurs du Monde helps these people create the conditions they need to become successful, and in turn make economic and social progress.

Zambia has about 1 million orphans, this gives Zambia the highest per capita orphans rate in the world. One in every 4 household is a child headed home. About 65% of Zambians earn less than $1.25 per day. The Other Side Foundation is committed in nurturing at grassroots level, Orphans & Vulnerable children through an integrated Values Based Education (Education in Human Values), Nutrition and Health care. We further empower the widows, grandmothers and single mothers of our students through evening adult education, skills training & microloans/seed funding. The Other Side Foundation promotes gender equality and believes that every child needs to eat at least a meal/day, have access to basic healthcare and education.

No Limits Cafe operates a lunch café that trains and employs adults with intellectual disabilities, aiming to give them paid work opportunities, on-the-job training, and increased community inclusion. The organization’s work centers on empowering employees so they can lead more independent, fulfilling lives.
