Alexander JFS provides a broad set of social services to strengthen individuals, families, and communities — offering behavioral & mental health care, coaching/case management, disability services, career & employment supports, and chaplaincy — guided by compassion, innovation, and Jewish values while serving people of all backgrounds.

Our mission is to educate and enrich the minds of our youth through 12 unique initiatives. Global learning k-12 works with students, teachers and coaches in Kindergarten through high school and into college.

TO PROVIDE NEEDED FOOD, SHELTER, CLOTHING, MEDICINE AND EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS.

Family to Family is a non-profit, non-sectarian, all volunteer program serving the unhoused and needy since 1983. We serve hot, nourishing meals to the hungry in our community five days a week. In 2024 we served approximately 35,000 meals.

We are a nationwide community dedicated to making the restaurant industry more hospitable to everyone.

“One group of adolescents at greatest risk of failing to make successful transitions to adulthood are delinquent youth who end up in the "deep end" of the juvenile justice system, in its detention centers and other locked institutions.”* Mentoring, A Touch From Above (MATFA) was founded in 1998 precisely to help these young people in the "deep end" make a successful transition to adulthood. MATFA mentors incarcerated and at-risk youth to help them become positive, productive young adults by emphasizing accountability and forgiveness and providing life skills. MATFA trains and supports mentors to help youth in the program acquire skills for successful and positive re-entry into society. FCDE leverages the knowledge, funds and direct personal support of global donors to empower communities to maximize economic, social and environmental opportunities, thereby reducing poverty and injustice.FCDE works to identify impoverished regions that have the drive, desire and basic tools to make positive, lasting change within their communities. By providing technical training, appropriate short-term personnel and seed funds, FCDE will becomes a partner and catalyst in making long-term positive changes within our host communities.

JoyRoo Education Academy is committed to providing transition housing, excellent academic, vocational, independant living skills, mentoring and leadership training to Emancipated (aged out) Foster Care Young Adults between the ages of 18 and 28 years old.

The mission of the Lincoln Park Community Shelter is to bring the community together to empower homeless men and women to make life changes.

Arm In Arm (formerly The Crisis Ministry of Mercer County) was founded in 1980 by the leaders of Nassau Presbyterian Church and Trinity Church as a grassroots, community response to the economic recession of the time. Our mission is “Partnering with the community to achieve stability for our neighbors in need." We serve low-income individuals and families in every Mercer County municipality through Housing Stability and Homelessness Prevention, Hunger Prevention and Nutrition Education, and Employment Readiness including Driver's License Assistance.

The Mission Create living-wage jobs, while establishing Haitian owned and operated small businesses, through the production of affordable charcoal using environmentally sustainable biomass and a financially sustainable business model and to work with other NGO's and organization to serve Haiti's poorest families. Vision Provide an environment that enables and encourages right-relationships with God, other people, and God's creation. To promote collaboration and networking with businesses and organizations working in Haiti and in alternative energy projects throughout the Caribbean. To use these relationships to support self-sufficient businesses throughout Haiti which provide services to people of every economic status and develop educated, capable professionals from within the local community. To increase the awareness of the plight of Haitian people through service and immersion projects and mission trips. Collaborate with businesses and organizations working in Haiti and throughout the Caribbean adding value to the joint effort via our renewable energy technology and methods. Facilitate the creation and growth of truly sustainable businesses in Haiti and the Caribbean.
