SERVICING THE HUNGRY IN MONTGOMERY AREA OF ORANGE COUNTY NY AND SURROUNDING AREA WITH FOOD AND OTHER HOUSEHOLD ITEMS.

Urban Food Alliance strives to alleviate food insecurity in local communities. We help feed the hungry in several ways:1) We provide warm meals at shelters and in places where homeless people gather. 2) We reach out to local Social Services departments to identify where meals are needed and work with them to organize collection drives to supply community food banks and soup kitchens.3) We create alliances with schools, community service groups, restaurants and other organizations to bring volunteers and resources together.4) In the long term, we hope to offer food education programs that will help people shop for and prepare healthy foods on a budget.

The Hyde Park Food Pantry, Inc. serves residents of the Hyde Park School District by providing access to a supplemental supply of nutritious food.

The Weekend Bag Program Inc. is a kid founded and run 501(c)3 nonprofit created to provide students going home from school over the weekend with food and hygiene products they otherwise wouldn’t have.

Since 2018, the Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Foundation has directed more than $30 million to organizations, innovators and changemakers across the country to address a fundamental absurdity in our food system: 35% of food produced in the U.S. is thrown away, yet 42 million Americans struggle with hunger. Through innovation, collaboration and community engagement, we’re committed to our mission of creating communities free of hunger and waste.

Mission: Last Mile addresses the disconnect between food waste, hunger and environmental sustainability by rescuing food about to go to landfills and directly distributing toorganizations that serve communities in need. By using technology, volunteers are able to redirect fresh, healthy viable food directory to those who are food insecure.

To pay down lunch debt and advocate for better nutrition solutions across all public schools.

TO GIVE HOPE TO CHILDREN AND SENIOR ADULTS IN OUR COMMUNITY FACED WITH THE CHALLENGE OF FOOD INSECURITY BY PROVIDING A LUNCH BAG AND INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE TO THEM EVERY SATURDAY.

Seeking and Saving that which is Lost After reaching thousands for the Kingdom of God in remote areas of West Africa, the Lord told us to take a step of faith and look at reaching unreached people groups exclusively and to continue to focus on the most formidable tribes, villages, and cultures.
