Sisters Of The Road exists to build authentic relationships and alleviate the hunger of isolation in an atmosphere of nonviolence and gentle personalism that nurtures the whole individual, while seeking systemic solutions that reach the roots of homelessness and poverty to end them forever. We believe that all individuals are equally worthy, that no one has a monopoly on the truth, and that we have much to learn from one another. We consistently refuse to participate in or condone any act of violence, harm or humiliation, including sexism or racism. Our founding goals are to be a safe, public place for everyone, especially women and children, to offer nourishing meals at little cost or in exchange for labor, and to offer job training and employment experience to local residents. For thirty-five years, Sisters' has worked to fulfill these goals and to build a community based on nonviolence, dignity, and systemic change.

Veggielution connects people from diverse backgrounds through food and farming to overcome social isolation. We build social capital by connecting East San Jose residents to one another and to those outside their neighborhood so that participants have more robust social networks for taking positive action in their community.

The mission of Moveable Feast is to improve the health of Marylanders experiencing food insecurity and chronic illness by preparing and delivering medically tailored meals and providing nutrition education, thereby achieving racial, social, and health equity.

Founded in 1989, the mission of South County Outreach is to prevent hunger and homelessness by helping people help themselves.

Mission: Meals On Wheels of San Francisco and its volunteers provide seniors what they need to live independent and dignified lives — nutritious meals, professional social work and a friendly visitor. Our network of drivers, social workers, nutritionists, community partners, volunteers, donors and advocates are a formidable force against senior neglect and malnutrition. Meals On Wheels of San Francisco believes in delivering more than a meal – we are Nourishing the Whole Person.

Hunger Free Colorado connects people to food resources to meet existing needs and drives policy, systems and social change to end hunger

The Chef Ann Foundation (CAF) believes that every child should have access to fresh, healthy food every day so that they can develop healthy eating habits to last a lifetime. We think the greatest impact can be had through changing school food. By providing school communities with tools, training, resources and funding, we are able to help schools create healthier food and redefine lunchroom environments. To date, our healthy school food programming has reached over 10,000 schools and 3 million children in all 50 states.

Growing Gardens’ mission is to reduce hunger and transform lives through the experience of gardening and growing your own food. We have been working in Oregon for over 20 years. We work with thousands of volunteers to build organic vegetable gardens at homes, schools, and correctional facilities. Our work changes lives.

Crossroads Community Food Network is building a healthier, more inclusive food system in Maryland's Takoma/Langley Crossroads.

Our mission is to educate and connect people to food traditions, food production and the pleasures of the table.

Nourish My Soul is dedicated to improving the food system through community based agriculture, nutrition education, and youth empowerment while advocating for food sovereignty. Food is the catalyst used to connect communities, encourage stewardship, and inspire new leaders in the food movement.
