The mission of Somerville Homeless Coalition is to provide homeless and near-homeless individuals and families with individualized supportive services and tailored housing solutions to obtain and maintain affordable housing. In short, our mission is in 'finding everyone a home'. We advance this mission each day through our emergency response initiatives that include Street Outreach to the unsheltered, a 16-bed Adult Homeless Shelter, and a Food Assistance Program - Project SOUP. Other programming focuses on the prevention of hunger and homelessness through a combination of services, such as comprehensive housing search and case management; homeless prevention assistance; and, the prov Today, SHC transforms lives by providing services, support, and housing for nearly 9,000 individuals.

The Restoration Bridge International Food Ministry is an ever-growing organization that provides food for many people in the surrounding communities that are in need of benevolence. It has been said that they can not transform a world except as individuals in the world. Their vision for the future is to increase constructive productivity for individuals in our community. They endeavor to assist those in danger of losing their hope.

To strengthen our community by inspiring and empowering diverse youth, ages 4-14, to dream BIG and BELIEVE they can achieve anything in life by exposing them, their parents, and community members to safe, fun, interactive, recreational, and educational learning environments as well as child development workshops, volunteering, and hands-on activities.

During times of peace, our connection strengthens the bond between the civilian sector and America's armed forces. During times of war, ASA facilitates public expressions of support and appreciation for our nation's military and their families.

The mission of Daniel's Table is to provide food security services to our neighbors-in-need with dignity and respect. Offering education and opportunity, we are creating a model that opens healthy food channels to promote physical and emotional health community-wide.

Here at Aunt Dot’s Place, Our goal is small but our vision is large. A passionate, dedicated team of volunteers have joined forces to create a local food shelf for the residents in the Essex Community. Our organization will begin as a resource for food. In the future, we hope to evolve and be able to offer clothing, temporary shelter and employment assistance to those who seek our support.

"Daystar Life Center provides the necessities of life to our neighbors in need in order to alleviate hunger, homelessness, and hopelessness". They serve neighbors in need regardless of race, sexual orientation, religion or age. Their target population includes the elderly, disabled, chronically ill, people employed making less than livable wages, the uninsured or under-insured, homeless people and people suffering from situational crises

Disabled But Not Really (DBNR) advocates for the disabled community by raising awareness about Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), promoting mental and physical wellness, and engaging diverse audiences through local and national events. People deserve to know they are more than their circumstances.

WFCM is the anchor health and human services nonprofit organization in western Fairfax County, VA that provides food and financial support to households at risk of hunger and homelessness in an nine zip code area, including Centreville, Chantilly, Clifton, Fairfax, Fairfax Station, Oak Hill and Herndon.
