The Woodinville Storehouse Food Bank is operated by a coalition of churches and denominations serving the local community by providing nourishment and ministry to those in need. We are a Christian organization that provides fresh food and prayer support to members of our community. Anyone who is experiencing food insecurity is invited to become a client for as long as they need. We provide quality food including dairy, baked goods, produce, meat and vegetables. Clients are treated with respect and care by volunteers who are equipped to pray for them if desired.

FCD has the following missions 1. Love Story Foundation is a charity aimed at meeting the needs of the community in Port Elizabeth. We have a desire to be involved in community upliftment and development and would like to start a culture of "giving back to the community" amongst the public of this region. Our projects include feeding schemes for the homeless and destitute, early childhood development programmes in underprivileged schools and distribution of food parcels and clothing to those in need. We have a desire and passion to expand such projects and move into other areas requiring development nationally. Our Vision: to meet needs, to show love, to spread love.

The German Red Cross co-operates with other national Red Cross/ Red Crescent societies, the International Federation of Red Cross/ Red Crescent Societies and the International Committee of the Red Cross in numerous missions concerning: - Emergency Response (including quick assignment of pre-trained personnel and pre-packaged material, provision of relief materials, donations and contributions in cash and in kind to partner organizations) - Rehabilitation after disasters (Reconstruction of houses, medical facilities, and livelihood after disasters) - Development projects with focus on Disaster Risk Reduction / Climate Change Adaptation, Water and Sanitation, Basic Health Care, Livelihood and Capacity Building within Partner Red Cross/Red Crescent Societies and communities.
