Central Virginia Alliance for Community Living, Inc. (CVACL) envisions a community where all individuals, regardless of age or disability, maintain independence, dignity, equal rights, and a meaningful life based on their own personal choices. The organization will actively engage in the mission of supporting older adults and adults with disabilities to live in accordance with these principles.

To improve the quality of life and advance the rights of children; To bring about change for good on behalf of children and families, and encourage them to participate in processes which enhance their equality, self-reliance and long term sustainable development; Wherever possible to provide practical support which allows children to grow up within their own families and communities

​Neighbors Nourishing Neighbors Food Pantry, formerly Bethlehem Place, was established in the 1980s by a group of women from Prosper United Methodist Church. The purpose of the organization became a mission to serve elderly and disadvantaged residents of Prosper as well as migrant workers who harvested wheat and cotton.

To empower children, youths and women to focus, organize and work towards improved social-economic well-being. We achieve this by empathy, social and economic empowerment through self-help projects, Advocacy, psycho-social support, community mobilization and sensitization, outreaches, health, networking and educational support.

WE CARRY OUT OUR MISSION BY PROVIDING MEALS TROUGH OUR FOOD PANTRY, TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FOR MEDICALLY FRAGILE, TRANSPORTATION AND SUPPORTED HOUSING IN PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY.

Through providing social services for the homeless and the hungry, including people living with HIV/AIDS, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex (LGBTQI+) youth, and building a sense of community, MCCNY Charities, Inc. furthers the broader mission of MCCNY in bringing the world to just and right relationship.
