Founded in 2012, our mission is to guide and empower young people with the knowledge, skills, and resources to make healthy lifestyle choices. We accomplish our goals through plant-based nutrition and culinary education in schools, summer camps and community events.

The Nutrition Coalition is a non-partisan, nonprofit organization that aims to educate the public and policy makers about the need to strengthen national nutrition policy so that it is founded upon a comprehensive body of conclusive science, and where that science is absent, to encourage additional research.

Alive Medical Services (AMS) exists to provide and model comprehensive prevention, care, treatment, and support of HIV and other health needs for its clientelle using a holistic approach incorporating education, training, and research to empower them to live a quality life.

The society organizes and operates the long-running Cummington Fair to promote agriculture, horticulture, livestock breeding, mechanics, fine arts and local domestic manufacture; it supports community agriculture education and awards scholarships while preserving a traditional agricultural fair experience.

Nourish My Soul is dedicated to improving the food system through community based agriculture, nutrition education, and youth empowerment while advocating for food sovereignty. Food is the catalyst used to connect communities, encourage stewardship, and inspire new leaders in the food movement.

The Friends group supports and promotes the Alpena Farmers’ Market by raising funds, organizing programs and events, and helping increase market participation. Their work focuses on supporting local producers and improving community health and nutrition through outreach, education, and market-related activities.

We build healthy and diverse communities by: - Advocating for, managing and funding organic community gardens, urban farms and green spaces - Providing educational opportunities for growing, sharing and preparing food - Acquiring and holding land for organic community gardens, urban farms and green spaces.

Partners in Action for Healthy Living's mission is to empower South DeKalb residents to make healthy choices that support their best quality of life. We do this by empowering and educating individuals through gardening and urban agriculture, connecting people to the land, to their food and most importantly, to each other.

We provide free education, orientation, and guidance about veganism to Puerto Rico and the Spanish speaking world, via digital, in-person, and printed modes of communication. We cover topics such as animal rights, plant-based nutrition, environmental conservation, and veganic farming, among others.

The Chef Ann Foundation (CAF) believes that every child should have access to fresh, healthy food every day so that they can develop healthy eating habits to last a lifetime. We think the greatest impact can be had through changing school food. By providing school communities with tools, training, resources and funding, we are able to help schools create healthier food and redefine lunchroom environments. To date, our healthy school food programming has reached over 10,000 schools and 3 million children in all 50 states.

Living Hungry believes everyone has potential worth nourishing. Living Hungry's mission is to design nutrition products logistics and innovative programs to end hunger empower health and unleash the hidden kindness vitality and genius in our homeless children our at-potential teens and our chronically ill neighbors and their families. We do this through our Fuel Up Packs and Student Life Alliance programs for homeless students healthy meals and groceries for homeless Veterans and the Healthy Food Prescription program for diabetics empowered to use food as their medicine.

TO PROVIDE EDUCATION, NETWORKING, AND ADVOCACY TO HELP BUILD A SUSTAINABLE CHESAPEAKE FOODSHED, WHERE FOOD FLOWS FROM FARM AND FISHERY TO TABLE IN WAYS THAT STRENGTHEN FARMING AND THE REGIONAL FOODECONOMY; PROTECT OUR LAND, WATER, AND AIR; AND PROVIDE HEALTHY, NUTRITIOUS FOOD THAT SUSTAINS THE REGIONS COMMUNITIES AND CITIES.
