Fundacion Via Cocina is a community based project focused on improving the health and economic development of vulnerable women, youth and underprivileged in Medellin Colombia. With a personalized training and mentoring system sharing healthy food recipes, cooking techniques and applied financial planning and entrepreneurial small business fundamentals, we build a program for individuals and families based on their current reality, applying the training to objectives created with them, for them, in their own home. Additionally, we provide classes to individuals and groups who want to learn to cook healthy dishes with local ingredients for their families, transforming them into uncommon flavors that are low in fat, oil, salt and sugar-free. These activities look to decrease frequency and severity of non-communicable diseases in the communities, including obesity, diabetes and cholesterol.

Gruppo Aleimar is a non-profit voluntary organization that deals with children and families in need both in Italy and abroad, through the Distance Support, projects of development and awareness-raising and human development activities on the Italian territory. The main areas of our development projects are: 1. Education: taking charge of children in family (natural or adoptive), in foster homes and shelters, schooling and vocational training. 2. Health and hygiene awareness: support to clinics and / or hospitals, funding of surgical operations, seminars for young mothers. 3. Women promotion: start-up of agriculture and livestock, creation of production cooperatives, micro-credit financing. 4. Rural villages' development: water well, kindergarten, solar energy for light and water pumps. 5. Women' refuge and social housing for families in temporary need. The Aleimar Group is active today in 12 countries (Benin, Brazil, Colombia, D.R. Congo, Eritrea, India, Italy, Malawi, Palestine, Kenya, Lebanon, Zambia) with more than 50 projects and takes care directly of 600 children (what we call distance support) and, indirectly, of other 2,500 children that we follow within our projects. The Group comprises Aleimar for overseas project; Tuendelee for Italian projects and Prema, a cooperative for mentally disabled youth. The Group hires five people and relays on the voluntary service of 140 people. Its annual turnover is abt.1,2 million euro and overhead cost is less than 10%. Its balance sheet is checked and approved by internal auditors. We have been granted a seal of quality "Donare con fiducia" by the Istituto Italiano Donazione. In 30 years of activity the Group has helped more than 10.000 children/families, has built more than 100 foster homes, orphanages, schools and water wells.

Sisters Of The Road exists to build authentic relationships and alleviate the hunger of isolation in an atmosphere of nonviolence and gentle personalism that nurtures the whole individual, while seeking systemic solutions that reach the roots of homelessness and poverty to end them forever. We believe that all individuals are equally worthy, that no one has a monopoly on the truth, and that we have much to learn from one another. We consistently refuse to participate in or condone any act of violence, harm or humiliation, including sexism or racism. Our founding goals are to be a safe, public place for everyone, especially women and children, to offer nourishing meals at little cost or in exchange for labor, and to offer job training and employment experience to local residents. For thirty-five years, Sisters' has worked to fulfill these goals and to build a community based on nonviolence, dignity, and systemic change.

Fast Rural Development Program (FRDP) is a nonprofit and nongovernmental organization registered under the societies Act XXI of 1860, working in the underprivileged areas of Sindh, Pakistan since 2007. The Program is aimed at facilitating the disadvantaged communities in a way that they could be empowered to secure their rights with command over the resources and capabilities to manage the process of sustainable development. FRDP is involved with overall integrated development but its major focus is to promote Water and Sanitation, Health & Hygiene, Emergency Relief, improve Education, SRHR, MNCH, Poverty Alleviation, Promotion of Human Rights (especially the rights of women, children indigenous groups and persons with disabilities), Peace Building and Good Governance. FRDP has well educated, experienced and committed members on its board. FRDP is known for its highly qualified, motivated and experienced staff, quality work, transparent systems and excellent perception among the communities, government and other relevant stakeholders at provincial, national and international level. FRDP has implemented a wide range of projects with its national and international partners including government in the fields as mentioned above. Some prominent partners are Sindh Education Foundation, UNICEF, FAO, IOM, Oxfam, Concern Worldwide, The Asia Foundation, Penny Appeal, Amir Khan Foundation and ActionAid. The organization has up to the mark systems and policies which include Tally ERP Financial Software, Financial Policy, Admin & Logistic Policy, HR & Gender Policy, Internal & External Audit Systems and Complaint Response Mechanism. FRDP seeks the services of topmost auditors for its annual audit. FRDP believes in two-way monitoring system i.e. top to bottom and vice versa. FRDP has its well established and equipped Head Office in Hyderabad and a number of Field Offices in different districts. Our family of ten programs delivers essential services, provides equitable access to resources, and advocates for health and dignity across every stage of life. Every year, we meet the needs of thousands of local children, families and seniors with broad support from individuals, businesses, foundations and government. We believe that when we work together, anything is possible. Our Child Development Division's experienced, bilingual teachers offer early education opportunities, developmental screenings, and family engagement at six centers throughout the county. Child & Adult Care Food Program is a nutrition assistance program that ensures low-income children and adults attending licensed facilities receive healthy meals and each every day. Elderday Adult Day Health Care is the only program of its kind in Santa Cruz County, serving approximately 70 elders and adults with physical, emotional, or cognitive impairments each day. It provides the services this vulnerable population needs to stay healthy and maintain the highest level of independence possible. Our Family Resource Collective works with individuals and families to build safe, healthy, and compassionate communities through education, resources, and advocacy. It includes La Manzana Community Resources, Live Oak Family Resource Center, Mountain Community Resources, and Nueva Vista. Lift Line provides accessible rides to low-income, disabled, elderly and frail individuals each year, ensuring that their medical, nutritional, and emotional needs are met. Meals on Wheels for Santa Cruz County serves more than 600 meals per day to low-income, frail, elderly, and disabled residents. With no required payment or waiting list, those in need can count on a warm meal at one of our five centers, or delivered straight to their doors. Women, Infants & Children (WIC) provides nutrition education, food stamps, and breastfeeding support to more than 9,000 low-income pregnant women, infants and children each month, helping families thrive.

Mission Statement: To serve the poor in Mexico, and further the Kingdom of God through worship and intercession. Voice of the Bride "Worship and Compassion" Ministries exists for two purposes. We are committed to serving the poor and needy, specifically in Mexico. Daily, we are either picking up donated food supplies for distribution in Tijuana, or distributing food and other items to those in need in the poorer parts of Tijuana. This includes orphanages, rehabs, elderly homes, women's shelters, infirmaries, and various street outreaches, where many people hear the Gospel, as well as receive food for their families. VOB is also committed to furthering the Kingdom of GOD through worship and intercession, believing that prayer and worship 'grease the wheels' of mission work. VOB has sponsored and led worship in several targeted worship and intercession events. We have led worship at various outreaches in Tijuana, and are holding regular worship events in San Diego, designed to encourage people to spend extended time before the Lord in worship and prayer, and, specifically, to extend GOD's Kingdom on behalf of the nations through worship and intercession.

Without derogating from the generality of the aforegoing the activities of the Foundation , inter alia , include: Disaster management and humanitarian aid delivery in crises whether natural or man-made including floods, cyclones, hurricanes, earthquakes , tornado, accidents and war; Establishment of medical facilities , clinics and hospitals; Delivery of medicines and medical equipment; Establishment of feeding schemes, food parcel delivery and poverty relief programmes including assistance with burial and funeral arrangements, provision of new and used clothing, blankets and baby milk powder; Provision of boreholes, waterwells and water purification tablets; Provision of free telephonic and face-face counselling services in matters of depression, drug abuse, relationship problems, HIV/AIDS, marital discord, parenting, learning difficulties, teenage problems, child abuse, domestic violence, maintenance grants, etc. ; Establishment of Drug Rehab Centres and Havens for the abused; women and children in particular; Establishment of orphanages and old age homes; Provision of wheelchairs, hearing aids, braille machines and any such equipment and aids to assist physically and mentally challenged individuals; Provision of Life Skills training; empowerment counselling and skills in counselling; Establishment of skills development programmes, entrepreneul skills and job creation projects; Promoting South Africa as a means to encourage tourism, investment and further job creation initiatives; Provision of agricultural implements and Farmer's Packs (seeds, fertiliser , LAN, etc.) to promote food security and self sustainability; Establishment of educational institutions whether religious or secular; Provision of bursaries, textbooks, stationery, computers, technology workshops and other educational support; Establishment of places of worship including a tekke (meeting place for dervishes or disciples); Promotion of peace, tolerance, understanding, love, mercy and inter-faith dialopue between people, communities, cultures and religions; Promotion of faith, spirituality and religious awareness ; Establishment of community radio, television and media to assist with all the above principles; Support of artists who can promote all the above principles through song , writings, etc.

Organizational Mission: Help, Hope and Transformation LifeStyles’ mission is to provide affordable and accessible services that support and encourage individuals, families, and community development. Since its inception, LifeStyles has been dedicated to issues relative to health, human services and economic growth in the community.We act as an outreach, referral, and service delivery source promoting the dissemination of materials to educate the general public and navigating persons through existing services. Annually, we serve between 12 – 14,000 individuals. Some of the services that the organization provides include:  Emergency and transitional housing shelter programs, to include: hypothermia shelter program, domestic violence safe housing, men, and women and children’s; Transportation for older adults, low-income, homeless, and those participating in drug and family recovery court systems; Emergency assistance to include: food pantry; clothing closet; homeless concierge services (i.e., mailing address, vital records documentation, toiletries, shower and laundry facilities; lunches; and access to telephone services); and, financial subsidies for rent, security deposits, utilities and prescription assistance and finally; Financial Sustainability programs to include: Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, financial counseling and financial education.

With the goal of helping under-served communities in India, Nepal, and Tibet receive the vital services they need, Karuna-Shechen was founded in 2000 by Matthieu Ricard (www.matthieuricard.org), renown TED speaker, author, and humanitarian. We strive to reduce inequalities and work toward a fairer and more compassionate world. Karuna-Shechen's name expresses its mission while paying homage to its roots: Karuna means "compassion" in Sanskrit, and Shechen is the name of a major monastery in Tibet.
