SBP solves the challenges facing at-risk communities by bringing the rigor of business and innovation to reduce risk, create resilient communities and streamline recovery.SBP works across the disaster preparedness and recovery continuum to drive direct impact and by sharing knowledge, people and funding. By taking a holistic approach, SBP shrinks the time between disaster and recovery in three intersecting ways—advocate, build and prepare.SBP advocates for policy and system change and advises state and local leaders to run disaster recovery programs more efficiently and effectively to create transformational change and scale impact.SBP builds resilient communities efficiently and effectively.SBP prepares individuals, communities and organizations to mitigate risk and speed recovery.

Operation Finally Home provides homes and home modifications to America's military heroes, first responders and their families who have sacrificed so much in their service to country and community. We bring together corporate sponsors, builder associations, builders, remodelers, developers, individual contributors, and volunteers to help these Heroes and their families by addressing one of their most pressing needs – a home to call their own.

COMMUNITY HELP IN PARK SLOPE, INC. ("CHIPS") IS A NONSECTARIAN, VOLUNTARY, COMMUNITY-BASED NEW YORK NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION CHARTERED IN 1977. ITS MISSION IS TWOFOLD: TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND TEMPORARY HOUSING TO NEW AND EXPECTANT MOTHERS, AND TO FEED THOSE IN NEED THROUGH THEIR FOOD PANTRY AND SOUP KITCHEN.

To introduce low-cost compost toilets in order to reduce disease and provide dignity for people living without basic sanitation To reduce reliance on chemical fertilizers by producing organic compost products that can improve soil and improve food security To teach people how to compost organic wastes and protect water resources To promote EcoSan and composting as viable solutions to water-based sanitation systems

THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO RAISE MONEY TO BUILD AND REMODEL INJURY-SPECIFIC, ACCESSIBLE AND MORTGAGE-FREE HOMES FOR OUR CRITICALLY INJURED UNITED STATES MILITARY VERTERANS RETURNING FROM IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN.

Founded in 1983 as a soup kitchen, Miriam's Kitchen has evolved over the years to provide more than meals. Today, Miriam's Kitchen is a critical player in the fight to end chronic homelessness in DC. On the direct services level, we help our guests improve their health, increase their income and obtain housing through a range of programs and partnerships. The Night Ministry was created out of diverse religious traditions to build relationships with vulnerable youth and adults on the nighttime streets. Today, we build relationships in a variety of settings. Through these relationships and the provision of housing, health, outreach, spiritual, and social services, we seek to empower people of all ages to meet their own needs. Recognizing the uniqueness, dignity, and value of each person, we accept individuals as they are, in an affirming and compassionate manner. We call the larger community to the same mission. Since 1976, The Night Ministry, a non-profit, non-denominational social service organization has served people at difficult crossroads in their lives. We work to build relationships with youth and adults we serve - regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identification or social status. We offer concrete services in compassionate, accepting environments. Through our two programs, Outreach & Health, and Youth Services, we provide basic resources, free healthcare, housing and supportive services for youth, referrals to other resources, and more. We do not proselytize, evangelize or espose any particular faith tradition. Our ministry is one of serving. The Night Ministry serves homeless and runaway youth, working poor adults, uninsured and underinsured individuals seeking medical assistance and others Staff and volunteers work to build non-judgmental relationships aimed at empowering individuals to meet their own needs. We try to help those we serve find and use their own strengths and resources.

The Dream Builders Project is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in Los Angeles, California in October 2013. Since its beginning, The Dream Builders Project has had one goal in mind: to make a positive difference on the community and the world at large. As a “charity for charities,” The Dream Builders Project is not bound to any particular group or cause. This allows the DBP to join forces with many great and sometimes overlooked charities and nonprofits to make the most profound impact. Some of the main causes The DBP focuses on include homelessness, child abuse and neglect, education, fighting human trafficking, and improving living standards in orphanages across the world. The DBP is dedicated to making the biggest impact per dollar. By doing extensive research and having a vetting system in place, the DBP is able to ensure that all donations and volunteer efforts are spent in the most impactful and productive way possible. Once a genuine organization has been vetted, The DBP is able to provide services including: – financial support – campaign creation and execution – volunteer and administrative support – website marketing and public relations – special events and galas By being a charity for charities, The Dream Builders Project does the leg work to make sure that your time, money, and energy is being spent in most productive and impactful way.

Wind Youth Services provides supportive services and opportunities to youth experiencing homelessness as they pursue self-determined lives of stability and independence. Wind strives to engage youth experiencing homelessness who need safety from the streets and access to resources to help them move from crisis to healthy functioning and independence. Wind Youth Services is Sacramento County's only program serving homeless youth. Through our programs and services, Wind Youth Services provides homeless and at-risk youth between the ages of 12 and 24 with basic safety net services and a safe place to stay.

YouthCare builds confidence and self-sufficiency for homeless youth by providing a continuum of care that includes outreach, basic services, emergency shelter, housing, counseling, education, and employment training.
