New Avenues for Youth is a Portland-based nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention and intervention of youth homelessness. Tumbleweed is a non-profit organization founded in 1972 to help homeless and forgotten youth in our community to grow and thrive. In 1975, the open hands program began offering shelter and counseling for youth in crisis. We now have a dozen programs that provide a full range of services.
