The ForKids team is committed to our mission of breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty for families and children. Thirty-four years ago, concern for families with children sleeping on local beaches led ForKids to open an 8-family emergency shelter in Norfolk. Originally operating with a volunteer staff, ForKids worked with local officials to expand services into neighboring cities, added a hotel voucher program to increase shelter capacity and incorporated a system of holistic support services. ForKids provides comprehensive programming to address social emotional learning skills along with targeted educational support to close academic achievement gaps. Since 1988, our service delivery model has evolved strategically to foster strong families and secure the futures of children.

Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity of Cherokee County brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Since 1991 we have built 28 homes in Cherokee County and have done many home rehabs.

The DareDevils Youth Sports Organization is a registered 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit formed to foster the growth of youth individuals through team sports. Our mission is to develop young boys and girls into young, productive adults. DDYSO will be committed to delivering a polished, well-rounded young adult who is prepared to make a transition to the next level whether that’s Jr. High School or Sr. High School in the North Texas area. We will provide the tools, services and resources that will enhance your child’s athletic ability, allow them to strive for academic excellence, sharpen their life skills, and promote holistic excellence.

Family Promise partners with inter-faith congregations in our community who provide their facilities, volunteers and financial support to assist these families.

North Coast Community Homes builds and maintains homes for people with developmental disabilities and severe mental illness throughout Northeast Ohio.

Our mission is to uplift under-served individuals and their families by doing whatever it takes. We started in 1953 in Oakland, and have since expanded across the Bay Area, from Fremont to Fairfield and everywhere in between.
