Founded in 1987, Caracole House was the first licensed adult care facility in Ohio for people living with HIV/AIDS. Today, Caracole provides prevention services for the community and case management and housing services to more than 1,500 clients living in a 20 county region in Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana.

Arm In Arm (formerly The Crisis Ministry of Mercer County) was founded in 1980 by the leaders of Nassau Presbyterian Church and Trinity Church as a grassroots, community response to the economic recession of the time. Our mission is “Partnering with the community to achieve stability for our neighbors in need." We serve low-income individuals and families in every Mercer County municipality through Housing Stability and Homelessness Prevention, Hunger Prevention and Nutrition Education, and Employment Readiness including Driver's License Assistance.

At Family Promise Essex they take care of families experiencing homelessness. FPE focuses on three service areas to assist families experiencing or at risk of homelessness: Emergency Shelter Program Prevention and Stabilization Program Youth and Family Program

A Work In Progress Sober Living Home for Women provides affordable housing and support recovering from alcoholism and drug addiction. We also provide housing for women with mental health issues that prevent them from living independently.

Friends Association promotes the independence of families with children by providing shelter, programs, and services that prevent and end homelessness in Chester County. Our Vison is to lead the community in eliminating homelessness for families with children to enable them to thrive in homes with safe and stable environments.
