The James H. Cole Legacy Foundation seeks to provide opportunities for economic empowerment, assist underserved schools and children in need, and support everyday people who serve to make Detroit a great place to live. To do this, we establish relationships to support non-profit organizations, small businesses, and individuals in need within our community.

We want people to live! Our goal is to help re-introduce over 500,000 families back into society by 2023. We want to make a big impact on homelessness and helplessness.We want families to be productive financially, physically and mentally. Once we give our client a second chance, we then offer them services to help them maintain a stable place and a standard of living

Mary's Place is a home for pregnant and parenting women that provides support in an environment of reverence and love. We welcome women of all faiths and strives to empower them with stability and independence, while promoting the inherent dignity of both mother and child.

Oak City Cares is a public-private partnership that exists to support the self-determination of our neighbors experiencing homelessness through trusting relationships and connections to coordinated services that increase their ability to be safely and stably housed.

Providing survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation with the support and resources needed to attain economic empowerment

To provide a safe, community-accessible, sustainable neighborhood that actively engages individuals with disabilities and their families while promoting a healthy, life-enhancing, supportive environment.

Our mission is to provide assistance to those in-need within our community. We want to not only provide furniture, but also to inspire hope by showing our neighbors that we care about them.

Our mission is to revive the dignity of homeless adults with mental illnesses through housing, support, and love.

"Your Family's Table strives to stabilize and strengthen the family unit by providing a tangible, physical asset — a family dining table — at which parents, partners, children, and grandchildren can gather on a daily basis. By providing each family we serve with a family dining table, we hope that they can more easily and more frequently communicate with one another and thereby more fully understand one another, creating a more stable, sustainable, and supportive home environment. Our hope is that these families will use the lessons learned around their family dining table to grow and prosper both within their family unit and in society in general."

Border Kindness provides migrants, refugees, and the displaced with comprehensive services that include food, shelter, clothing and medical care. There programs and interventions are designed to identify, protect and nurture the most vulnerable – including women, children, elderly and families. Border Kindness believes everyone should have the opportunity to live free of pain, hunger, intimidation and fear. They believe everyone is our neighbor.
