To provide support to foster children in East Alabama

To provide for the emotional, physical, educational, and social needs of at-risk children, youth, and families, as well as to equip, support, and send leaders to provide similar services throughout the world. To accomplish these goals, LHI receives financial and service support from individuals, churches, businesses, and foundations throughout the United States and other countries.

To rescue and restore orphans and at-risk children in Romania who cannot be adopted out of country. Godly foster care homes are supported who provide loving and safe environments for fatherless children.

The ForKids team is committed to our mission of breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty for families and children. Thirty-four years ago, concern for families with children sleeping on local beaches led ForKids to open an 8-family emergency shelter in Norfolk. Originally operating with a volunteer staff, ForKids worked with local officials to expand services into neighboring cities, added a hotel voucher program to increase shelter capacity and incorporated a system of holistic support services. ForKids provides comprehensive programming to address social emotional learning skills along with targeted educational support to close academic achievement gaps. Since 1988, our service delivery model has evolved strategically to foster strong families and secure the futures of children.

Boles Children's Home, founded in 1924, functioned in its first three decades as an orphanage utilizing dormitory living for large groups of children. Beginning in the mid-fifties, it transitioned into a children's home, with smaller groups of boys and girls living in cottages with houseparent couples. In the mid-eighties, the transition continued toward the present multi-program Child and Family Services agency providing a range of residential, counseling, and vocational services to children and to single-parent mothers and their children. Throughout its history, Boles Home has maintained the foundational Christian values, woven into the fabric of its service programs. Boles has provided a home to over 21,0000 Children in its 84 years of service. No child or family is turned away because of race, religion, color, national origin, or inability to pay.

Social Advocates for Youth provides support, opportunities and hope to children, youth and families. We are dedicated to creating and supporting a caring community where all children, youth and families grow, thrive and succeed.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oklahoma City benefits children by providing a 'home away from home' for families with seriously ill or injured children receiving medical treatment in the Oklahoma City area.

Family Renew Community houses and helps homeless families with children

Transform the lives of homeless men,women, and children through comprehensive residential programs to effect lasting change and empower them to productive members of society. We provide food, clothing, shelter, substance abuse treatment, education, computer literacy, job placement, healthcare, spiritual development and housing with Christian love, compassion and encouragement.

PathWays PA's mission is to help women, teens, children and families achieve economic independence and family well-being. Our goal is to help women, children, and families escape the cycle of poverty, homelessness, and abuse.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Norfolk provides a home away from home for families with children facing medical challenges. We fulfill our mission by keeping families close to their seriously ill children.

The mission of Borromeo Housing, Inc. (BHI) is to empower young single mothers to create a self-sustaining future through education, counseling and support, while they reside in our safe home. BHI closely monitors the infants of our young mothers to ensure the children are parented responsibly, receive appropriate medical care, and meet individual developmental benchmarks. In this way, BHI is determined to present two generations of at-risk youth with alternatives to the perils of neglect, poor education, and inter-generational poverty.
