Safehome's mission is to break the cycle of domestic violence and partner abuse for victims and their children by providing shelter, advocacy, counseling, and prevention education in our community.

The mission of the New Hope Family Shelter (NHFS) is to provide temporary shelter for homeless families in Bloomington and Monroe County and, in collaboration with other agencies, to help those families regain housing by addressing the problems that led to homelessness.

The mission of Chest of Hope is to encourage and promote a healthy family system through prevention, education, intervention and support. Community Housing Partnership’s mission is to help homeless people secure housing and become self-sufficient. Community Housing Partnership is an outcomes-focused nonprofit that fulfills its mission by developing and managing high quality supportive housing and providing services to homeless individuals, seniors and families to help them rebuild their lives and break the cycle of homelessness.

Good Samaritan Haven will provide compassionate care and emergency shelter to individuals experiencing homelessness in Central Vermont.

Founded in 1989, the mission of South County Outreach is to prevent hunger and homelessness by helping people help themselves.

DOROT alleviates social isolation among the elderly and provides services to help them live independently as valued members of the community. We serve the Jewish and wider community, bringing the generations together in a mutually beneficial partnership of elders, volunteers and professionals. Our work provides an effective model for others.

Founded in 1974, Homeward Bound of Marin strives to end homelessness in our community with training, housing and hope. Our programs range from emergency shelter to permanent supportive housing for families and individuals, combined with services like counseling and job training that help residents build a sustainable, independent future. We also operate several social enterprise businesses, including production of Wagster Treats dog biscuits and The Key Room event venue, that offer hands-on work experience to students and graduates while earning revenue to support our programs. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Homeward Bound plans to open 50 new units of housing for veterans and people moving back into the workforce.
