We make sure that our neighbors have food on their tables and roofs over their heads.We serve clients in Washington State's Greater North Seattle, including Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, Bothell, and Kenmore.

The mission of Supportive Housing Communities (SHC) is to provide affordable housing to alleviate homelessness and human suffering. In carrying out this mission, SHC prioritizes the needs of the “chronically homeless”—those who have been homeless for at least one year and have at least one disability. SHC serves chronically homeless individuals and families by providing permanent supportive housing in a variety of congregated and scattered site residencies.

Assist adults, children and youth in reclaiming their right to a life free from domestic violence. SafeHouse Denver strives to: • intervene in domestic violence with services that empower adults, children and youth to live free from domestic abuse. • prevent domestic violence through education efforts that foster and support a broad movement for violence-free communities. • facilitate an interactive, collaborative community response to relationship violence that identifies victims earlier, makes victim services more accessible, and builds community awareness and accountability.

Harbor House hopes to contribute to the building of a just community where all people are included. We see all human beings as worthy of our time and our efforts. We offer referrals, resources, case management, and a hand up for those who are struggling. It is our goal to help all people in our community find hope, gainful employment, affordable housing, and a sense of personal well being

City Life/Vida Urbana is a grassroots community organization committed to fighting for racial, social, and economic justice and gender equality by building working-class power. We promote individual empowerment, develop community leaders and build collective power to effect systemic change and transform society. Throughout its 45-plus-year history, City Life has largely expressed its mission through organizing Boston residents in order to prevent displacement and promote tenants' rights and affordable housing throughout Boston and beyond.

Seattle Homeless Outreach (SHO) seeks to meet our clients where they are, without expectation or judgment, and provide basic survival supplies including food, water, sleeping bags, tents, clothing, and bus tickets. But more importantly, we provide a human connection to our homeless neighbors. SHO builds relationships with our homeless neighbors and with social service providers in the Seattle area so that we can connect people with services they need.

We believe that by creating an environment where people with intellectual and physical disabilities can share their gifts, we are affecting a positive change in the world. We believe that these shared gifts have the power to transform the lives of those who are open to receiving them. We celebrate the unique value of every person and recognize our need for one another. We resolve to explore and appreciate the diverse cultures and faith practices within L’Arche and to work together toward a more evolved and caring human society.

St. Anthony’s is an organization providing essential support to San Franciscans living in poverty. We believe that supporting people in need makes the city a better place to live. Every day, with dignity and respect, we offer thousands of the most vulnerable among us the basics we all need to feel human: a hot meal, fresh clothing, an opportunity to connect with the world around us. We bring people together in this work because we know it takes a community to break down barriers and create a society where all people flourish.

Our mission is to break the generational cycle of poverty for Latino immigrants and their families by lifting barriers to their success. We believe that everyone has the right to achieve their dreams. Every day, we partner with Latino immigrants and their families to best meet their needs and support their goals — from putting food on the table, to becoming U.S. citizens, to learning English, to graduating from college to gaining skills that lead to quality jobs with career-path employment opportunities. In parallel to our high-impact direct services, we address the root causes of inequity through bold, place-based initiatives. Together, we’re building a Marin where everyone can live, learn, work, and succeed.

Utah Nonprofit Housing Corporation (UNPHC), founded in 1967, is a Utah non-profit developer of multi-family affordable housing. Staffed by volunteers until 1993, there are now almost 50 employees. UNPHC has 40 properties providing more than 1,800 units to over 2,000 individuals. In addition, UNPHC provides the property management to several of these projects, as well as technical assistance to other non profit organizations and communities wanting to develop their own affordable housing. Those we serve are low and very low income, making less than 50% of the area median income. The majority of properties serve seniors 62 and older, but UNPHC also serves special needs populations such as physically disabled, families, chronically mentally ill, homeless, families and individuals in transition from homelessness, and HIV/AIDS persons. We own 20 single-family rent-to-own homes, and a 24-unit town home project for first-time home buyers. The most basic human needs are shelter and food. If those needs are not met, individuals are excluded from other significant human interactions: employment, parenting, and social contributions. UNPHC is committed to the belief that the long-term solution to homelessness is safe, decent, and affordable housing.

We do this by training local community members in trades-related skills through home improvement projects. H.Y.S.S.O.P. Housing Inc.-Honoring Your Seasoned Spirit in Opulent Places was founded 2010, formed as a group in 2012, acquired its 501c3 non-profit status in 2015. We exist to provide aging 55+ LGBTQ Women of Color quality housing in a supportive environment. We seek to improve the quality of life for this community and to respond to the needs of this community through housing ventures. We aspire to provide safe, fully sustainable, culturally diverse housing for aging 55+ LGBTQ Women of Color and the women & family who love them. We believe that aging 55+ LGBTQ Women of Color deserve the right to live in an environment that supports our sexuality, cultural sensitivity, different abilities, as well as address the care and well-being of our overall self.
