Visions and Pathways (visionsandpathways.org) was New Jersey's first private, 501(c)(3) non-profit youth shelter, incorporated in 1970 and opened in 1973. It is the mission of Visions and Pathways to provide abused, neglected and homeless youth with housing, a stable environment, and supportive services that guide them in becoming self-sufficient.Visions and Pathways addresses the community problems of child abuse, homelessness, runaway youth, and families in conflict. The agency provides 11 programs: Brahma House residential crisis intervention program; Passages, My Place and Whitney House residential transitional-living programs; Prosperity independent-living skills education program; Street Smart street outreach program; Transitional Learning Center for in-house education instruction; Bridge House and Village House, which provide supportive-housing for young adults who are aging-out of the child welfare system, an Arts and Recreation Program, and Transitions Program to provide aftercare services and support for youth who have been discharged from a Visions and Pathways program. The agency's residential programs are located in Bridgewater, New Jersey. There is a satellite Street Smart street outreach office in Morristown, NJ. The Street Smart street outreach program is targeted to adolescents and young adults between the ages of 13 and 21 who are living on the street or in other unsafe environments and are at-risk of sexual abuse and/or exploitation/human trafficking.

Esperanza Community Housing Corporation is a social justice non-profit in South Central Los Angeles that achieves long-term, comprehensive community development. They recognize that Indigenous, Black, and Latino immigrant communities are disproportionately impacted by historical oppression, health disparities, disinvestment, and displacement. Therefore, they develop and preserve affordable housing; elevate health equity and access to care; mobilize for environmental justice; create and protect local economic opportunities; expand engagement in arts and culture; and advocate for policies protecting human rights. Esperanza works collaboratively to strengthen South Los Angeles. In all of their actions, Esperanza builds hope with the community.

Angelica Village’s mission is to create community living spaces that support each person's humanity, bringing hope and healing to the world.

Their mission is to provide older adults with comprehensive and coordinated human services to encourage and promote healthy lifestyles, independence, well-being and quality of life.

To provide food, toiletries, and clothing with compassion and a smile; to spread our belief that if all those able get involved, the human tragedy of homelessness will be solved.

Unity Harbour champions the rights and support of individuals facing adversity due to oppressive laws focusing on anti-LGBTQIA legislation abortion regulations and homelessness. We strive to foster hope empowerment and action through community engagement and support.

The Motor City Mitten Mission is dedicated to helping the homeless, the needy, the sick and those striving for a better way of life while educating, partnering and collaborating with a number of other organizations, schools, churches, clubs and businesses. The Colorado Village Collaborative exists to initiate and invest in the development of resident-led villages. We embody radical solutions to homelessness: housing that centers human dignity, empowerment of marginalized voices, and design solutions that are affordable, sustainable and community oriented.

Founded as a street law clinic in 1967, ULS' mission is to provide protection, advocacy, education, counseling, and increased opportunity to underserved people so that they may exercise their full spectrum of rights--especially with regard to housing opportunities--in ways that encourage and promote increased participation in the social, economic, and educational betterment of their communities.

Central Virginia Alliance for Community Living, Inc. (CVACL) envisions a community where all individuals, regardless of age or disability, maintain independence, dignity, equal rights, and a meaningful life based on their own personal choices. The organization will actively engage in the mission of supporting older adults and adults with disabilities to live in accordance with these principles.
