The mission of Hope of the Valley is to attract people and resources to assist in the effort of meeting the needs of every hungry and homeless man, woman and child who seek our services. To fulfill our mission we form strategic partnerships to empower our clients with the faith, knowledge, resources and skills to lead a life of wholeness and self-sufficiency.Our vision is that no one goes without Hope, Hot Meals, Housing, and Health Services, and all who need a helping hand receive one with compassion and empathy.We are a faith-based independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that does not discriminate based on religion, gender, age, ethnicity or sexual orientation. All of Hope of the Valley’s services are grounded in a deep respect for the dignity inherent in each human being.

Wimberley Adoption Group and Rescue Corporation

The mission of Wimberley Adoption Group & Rescue (WAG Rescue) is to come to the aid of abandoned, neglected, unclaimed and surrendered dogs and puppies, regardless of their age or condition, in the Wimberley area and western Hays County. WAG Rescue provides medical care for these animals and places them in a nurturing foster environment where they receive training and learn socialization skills until they are ready to be adopted into loving, permanent homes. WAG Rescue promotes the compassionate treatment of all animals and seeks to educate the public about responsible pet ownership and advocates spay/neutering of pets in order to prevent overpopulation and much animal suffering. WAG Rescue is a volunteer supported organization committed to the following community services: To rescue and assist in the permanent placement of stray, abandoned, unclaimed, and surrendered dogs in and around Wimberley, Texas. To promote and ensure the compassionate and humane treatment of dogs in our care by providing medical treatment, vaccinations, spay/neuter services, and professional behavioral evaluation, training and rehabilitation if required. To place these dogs in a safe-haven, and provide a pre-screened foster home where they are nurtured, receive training and learn socialization skills so that they have the best chance of becoming a good companion animal. To find the most suitable, vetted permanent home for each dog based on its temperament and personality and compatibility with the adoptive family. To promote, through education, responsible pet ownership, pet health and safety, and the humane treatment of all animals. To promote spay/neuter of all pets in order to prevent overpopulation and animal suffering, and provide Emancipet low or no cost vouchers for dog spay or neuter to Wimberley residents. To act as a lost and found resource for all animals via our website and social media.

RIA, Inc. – ready•inspire•act is a nonprofit organization in MA supporting, and standing with, women with experience in the commercial sex trade by providing a range of community-based services. We practice the power of presence.RIA's premier program offers Accompaniment which is an intentional, trauma-informed approach to care that requires a deep and personal understanding of how power held over another human being damages a person's sense of safety and control over her own life and circumstances. Our model, ​Sisters Leading Sisters, incorporates clinical and healing practices in every step of support. These practices include survivor professional mentorship and advocacy, weekly virtual groups, case management, and clinical therapy.Services are facilitated by skilled women with lived experiences of sexual exploitation/prostitution, addiction, chronic illness, dv, and homelessness. We use an action-oriented, relational approach to fostering self-esteem and self-actualization. We bring compassionate community to the people we meet.

Access Housing Inc

Access Housing, Inc. (DC) (AHI) is a nonprofit 501(c)3, community-based organization committed and dedicated to the principle that everyone, regardless of income or socioeconomic status, has a right to decent, safe, and affordable housing. The program's focus is to support homeless veterans.AHI is the first program in the greater DC metro area to focus on housing homeless veterans . The organization operates two facilities which provide safe housing to nearly 100 homeless veterans, both men and women at a given time. AHI, which works in partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs, operates the Southeast Veterans Service Center and the Chesapeake Veterans House. These homes provide homeless veterans their own rooms, full meal service, a variety of counseling services (housing, job, mental health, PTSD, and substance abuse, as needed), barber and beauty services, a VA run medical clinic, and more. The ultimate goal of the program is to help place veterans in permanent housing. Veterans from across the DC metro area reside at the center. The wait list for veterans seeking to obtain a home at the center is extensive. To date, thousands of veterans have successfully returned to civilian life after going through AHI's program.

Visions And Pathways

Visions and Pathways (visionsandpathways.org) was New Jersey's first private, 501(c)(3) non-profit youth shelter, incorporated in 1970 and opened in 1973. It is the mission of Visions and Pathways to provide abused, neglected and homeless youth with housing, a stable environment, and supportive services that guide them in becoming self-sufficient.Visions and Pathways addresses the community problems of child abuse, homelessness, runaway youth, and families in conflict. The agency provides 11 programs: Brahma House residential crisis intervention program; Passages, My Place and Whitney House residential transitional-living programs; Prosperity independent-living skills education program; Street Smart street outreach program; Transitional Learning Center for in-house education instruction; Bridge House and Village House, which provide supportive-housing for young adults who are aging-out of the child welfare system, an Arts and Recreation Program, and Transitions Program to provide aftercare services and support for youth who have been discharged from a Visions and Pathways program. The agency's residential programs are located in Bridgewater, New Jersey. There is a satellite Street Smart street outreach office in Morristown, NJ. The Street Smart street outreach program is targeted to adolescents and young adults between the ages of 13 and 21 who are living on the street or in other unsafe environments and are at-risk of sexual abuse and/or exploitation/human trafficking.

Esperanza Community Housing Corporation is a social justice non-profit in South Central Los Angeles that achieves long-term, comprehensive community development. They recognize that Indigenous, Black, and Latino immigrant communities are disproportionately impacted by historical oppression, health disparities, disinvestment, and displacement.
