OUR MISSION Lake County Honor Flight celebrates America's veterans with a multi-day trip to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices. The Lake County Honor Flight works diligently to raise funds so that trips are available to veterans at no cost! The Lake County Honor Flight hub is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. OUR VISION A nation where all of America’s veterans experience the honor, gratitude, and community of support they deserve.

Every day, 22 veteran lives are lost to suicide. Our mission is to end this terrible statistic! Victory Gym VHC was formed by disabled veterans. We continue to be operated by both veteran and civilian volunteers. We have the unique ability to address the specific needs of combat veterans through firsthand knowledge. Victory Gym VHC offers a community where members “speak the same language”, share similar experiences, and can once again feel camaraderie and a sense of importance. Victory Gym VHC is a special place where everyone is welcome. We are entirely staffed by volunteers (including management), all of our equipment has been donated, and every penny goes toward furthering our mission. Bob Hope USO strengthens America's military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation.

Bugles Across America recruits and coordinates volunteer buglers to provide live performances of “Taps” at veterans’ funerals and memorial events at no charge, ensuring veterans receive a live musical honor. The group trains/qualifies volunteers and connects them with requests nationwide to preserve the tradition of a live sounding of Taps.

AMVETS NATIONAL SERVICE FOUNDATION OFFERS AMERICANS THE OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT VETERANS' SERVICE PROGRAMS AS WELL AS COMMUNITY-AND YOUTH-ORIENTED PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO PROMOTE UNITY AND PATRIOTISM. IT ALSO COUNSELS AND REPRESENTS VETERANS AND THEIR DEPENDENTS BEFORE THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION WITHOUT CHARGE

The foundation raises and manages charitable funds and endowments to support the perpetual care, maintenance, and improvement of the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery — funding projects, amenities, and long‑term operations so the cemetery remains a dignified resting place for veterans and their families.

Working Dogs For Vets trains and places service dogs for disabled veterans (largely using rescue dogs) and provides mentorship programs that let veterans train with certified volunteer trainers. Their work aims to increase veteran independence and reduce both veteran suicide and shelter overcrowding.

Code of Support Foundation (COSF) provides essential and critical one-on-one assistance to struggling service members, veterans and their families (SMVF) who have the most complex needs. We are dedicated to leveraging the nation's full spectrum of resources to ensure all members of our military, veterans and their families receive the support services they need and through their collective sacrifice have earned.

United Spinal Association works to empower and advocate for people with spinal cord injuries/disorders and all wheelchair users by providing peer support, information and resources, and by lobbying for accessibility and disability rights. Their programs include a national chapter network, resource/assistance services, advocacy, and publications to improve quality of life for people with SCI/D.

Our Mission: To help those who have served our country honorably live with dignity and independence. The service dog programs of America’s VetDogs® were created to provide enhanced mobility and renewed independence to veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders with disabilities, allowing them to once again live with pride and self-reliance. Not only does a service dog provide support with daily activities, it provides the motivation to tackle new challenges. VetDogs trains and places guide dogs for individuals who are blind or have low vision; PTSD service dogs to help mitigate the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder; hearing dogs for those who have lost their hearing later in life; service dogs for those with other physical disabilities, and facility dogs as part of the rehabilitation process in military and VA hospitals. It costs over $50,000 to breed, raise, train, and place one assistance dog; however, all of VetDogs’ services are provided at no charge to the individual. Funding comes from the generosity of individuals, corporations, foundations, businesses, and service and fraternal clubs. Once they make the decision to get a service dog, applicants become part of VetDogs’ open and welcoming community. They are supported with an uncompromised commitment to excellence, from highly empathetic and certified trainers to a meticulously constructed curriculum. VetDogs teams each student with the dog that’s right for them – and the power of their bond makes ordinary moments extraordinary. Crossing the street independently becomes a moment of liberation. Traveling alone becomes a welcome adventure. Embracing new experiences becomes an everyday occurrence. America’s VetDogs launched in 2003 as a project of the Guide Dog Foundation. In 2006, it became a separate 501(c)(3) corporation; the two organizations continue to share staff and other resources to ensure people with disabilities receive the best services possible. With an assistance dog from America's VetDogs by their side, a hero is never alone. With their courage and determination, these remarkable teams reconnect us all to the highest form of freedom there is: the freedom to experience the world around us in any way we choose, and to live without boundaries.

No Greater Sacrifice is dedicated to the children of our nation's fallen and wounded Service members by delivering scholarships and resources to improve their quality of life through the pursuit of higher education.

Clear Path for Veterans New England, Inc.is a New England area Veteran service provider. Clear Path for Veterans New England empowers service members, Veterans, and their families through supportive programs and services in a safe, respectful environment. In order to achieve this goal, we propose to build a center for Veterans to seek the help and resources they need in order to successfully integrate into their communities. In order to accomplish this goal, Clear Path for Veterans New England will require working capital support to finance its proposed project and projected growth.
