To design and build The American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial as a symbol of honor and unity for all disabled veterans from all branches of the service and from all conflicts and generations; and to educate, inform and remind all Americans of the human costs of war, and of the sacrifices that our disabled veterans have made on behalf of American freedoms.

The mission of the ASMBA STAR Foundation is to improve the quality of life of the military service member, wounded warriors, veterans and their families by contributing to those financial, educational, social, employment and medical needs unmet by the U.S. Government. The ASMBA STAR Foundation attempts to identify and respond to the military and veteran community needs by: o Cultivating and maintaining effective partnerships with individuals, businesses, government, and other veterans organizations; and o Communicating with the military service member, veterans, and their families to better identify those needs

The foundation raises and manages charitable funds and endowments to support the perpetual care, maintenance, and improvement of the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery — funding projects, amenities, and long‑term operations so the cemetery remains a dignified resting place for veterans and their families.

Honor Flight Long Island arranges free, all‑expenses‑paid day trips for Long Island veterans (primarily WWII, Korean, and Vietnam veterans) to visit their national memorials in Washington, D.C. It operates through donations and volunteers, with guardians often contributing to offset trip costs.

Our mission is to operate on a standing commitment to reach the brokenhearted, with a specific calling to assist our nation's military Warriors and families find a new life purpose through a hope in Christ, after enduring hardship through their service to America.

The Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit formed to support and fund the State of Florida’s Veterans’ Hall of Fame and to assist with administrative projects (such as plaques and scholarships) that recognize and aid Florida veterans who have made significant civic, business, or public-service contributions.

The Headstrong Project is a non-profit mental health organization providing confidential, barrier-free, and stigma-free PTSD treatment to our service members, veterans, and family connected to their care. Our goal is to help our clients “Triumph Over Trauma” by providing them with effective mental health treatment. Our Mission: To help those who have served our country honorably live with dignity and independence. The service dog programs of America’s VetDogs® were created to provide enhanced mobility and renewed independence to veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders with disabilities, allowing them to once again live with pride and self-reliance. Not only does a service dog provide support with daily activities, it provides the motivation to tackle new challenges. VetDogs trains and places guide dogs for individuals who are blind or have low vision; PTSD service dogs to help mitigate the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder; hearing dogs for those who have lost their hearing later in life; service dogs for those with other physical disabilities, and facility dogs as part of the rehabilitation process in military and VA hospitals. It costs over $50,000 to breed, raise, train, and place one assistance dog; however, all of VetDogs’ services are provided at no charge to the individual. Funding comes from the generosity of individuals, corporations, foundations, businesses, and service and fraternal clubs. Once they make the decision to get a service dog, applicants become part of VetDogs’ open and welcoming community. They are supported with an uncompromised commitment to excellence, from highly empathetic and certified trainers to a meticulously constructed curriculum. VetDogs teams each student with the dog that’s right for them – and the power of their bond makes ordinary moments extraordinary. Crossing the street independently becomes a moment of liberation. Traveling alone becomes a welcome adventure. Embracing new experiences becomes an everyday occurrence. America’s VetDogs launched in 2003 as a project of the Guide Dog Foundation. In 2006, it became a separate 501(c)(3) corporation; the two organizations continue to share staff and other resources to ensure people with disabilities receive the best services possible. With an assistance dog from America's VetDogs by their side, a hero is never alone. With their courage and determination, these remarkable teams reconnect us all to the highest form of freedom there is: the freedom to experience the world around us in any way we choose, and to live without boundaries.

Friends of Fisher House‑Illinois is a volunteer 501(c)(3) that raises funds and provides volunteer, material, and meal support to maintain Fisher Houses serving military members, veterans, and their families in Illinois (notably the Hines VA Fisher House and the Lovell Fisher House). Their work helps keep family lodging free while a loved one is receiving inpatient care and covers meals, supplies, and family outings.

We help empower veterans reintegrating into civilian life by growing produce, raising farm animals, and conducting seminars on holistic health and sustainability. Additionally, we foster a thriving micro-community of veterans and civilians who build deep friendships, implement innovative gardening techniques, and help cultivate emotional, physical, and spiritual health.

Indy Honor Flight is a volunteer-run, donor-funded 501(c)(3) that transports World War II, Korean War and Vietnam-era veterans from Indiana to the memorials in Washington, D.C., at no cost to the veterans. The program prioritizes the oldest and terminally ill veterans and is run entirely by unpaid volunteers supported by donations.

South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance, Inc. (“ALLIANCE”) is organized exclusively for charitable and education purposes. The purpose of this corporation is to provide world class facilities for a military heritage museum and education center, along with office, business and meeting space for the benefit, encouragement, camaraderie and esprit de corps of military veterans, active duty servicemembers, actively-serving Reserve Component (i.e. Reserve and National Guard) servicemembers, their families and all who support them, all within the meaning of IRC Chapter 501(c)(3).
