Daily Bread’s mission is to ensure that no one faces hunger or homelessness alone. We provide dignity and quality of life to the hungry and needy we serve, with daily hot meals and access to hygienic services. Together with community partners, we provide food collection, distribution services, and access to social and educational agencies providing clients with the opportunity to become self-sufficient.

Our mission is to support the independence and well-being of seniors. Meals-on-Wheels Greater San Diego is committed to providing healthy meals to homebound seniors so that no senior goes hungry. We strive, as well, to reduce the isolation experienced by so many elderly. Our meals are delivered to seniors' homes by volunteers. Frequently the volunteer may be the only person the senior sees all day, providing human contact and a safety net, particularly for those seniors living alone. We serve San Diego County's diverse and growing senior population by providing healthy, well-balanced meal menus providing our seniors variety as well as choice while they receive the nutrition they need to stay healthy.

Our mission is to deliver a breadth of resources to caregivers, families and patients who are confronting the final stages of life. Vision & Values Statement SCHF exists to elevate the quality of life experienced by those confronting a terminal illness. Our services support not just the patient, but family members and caregivers as well. As a result, we are continuously working with the care team to fulfill our mission, all the while, never losing sight of our vision: to open a Hospice House in Southern California that serves as a live-in facility for end-of-life care. The mission of The Campus Kitchens Project is to use service as a tool to: Strengthen Bodies by using existing resources to meet hunger and nutritional needs in our communities; Empower Minds by providing leadership and service learning opportunities to college students, and educational benefits to adults, seniors, children, and families in need; and Build Communities by fostering a new generation of community-minded adults through resourceful and mutually beneficial partnerships among students, social service agencies, businesses and universities.
