The Emerson Avenue Community Garden Club, is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization run entirely by volunteers working to develop a one acre portion of land on the campus of Orville Wright Middle School into a sustainable, organic food garden and green space shared by the school and the public at large for the purposes of education and community building.

FRANCIS PARK IS OWNED BY THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS, WHICH HAS LIMITED FUNDS TO MAINTAIN THE PARK. A GROUP OF CITY RESIDENTS GOT TOGETHER AND FORMED FRIENDS OF FRANCIS PARK (FOFP), A 501(C)(3) CORPORATION, TO HELP FUND AND IMPLEMENT IMPROVEMENTS IN FRANCIS PARK. FOFP WORKS CLOSELY WITH THE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION, OUR ALDERPERSON AND THE CITY PARKS DEPARTMENT. FOFP IS FUNDED THROUGH PRIVATE CONTRIBUTIONS AND THE NET PROCEEDS FROM THE ANNUAL RUN FOR THE HILLS AND FOOT GOLF. IT HAS NO PAID EMPLOYEES. THE CITY PARKS DEPARTMENT AS WELL AS OUR 16TH WARD ALDERPERSON HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN ALL OF OUR DISCUSSIONS ABOUT PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS OR FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES IN THE PARK AND MUST APPROVE ANY IMPROVEMENTS OR ACTIVITIES PROPOSED BY FOFP BEFORE THEY ARE IMPLEMENTED OR SCHEDULED.

Sustainable Surf protects and restores ocean health by shifting people to a highly desirable, low-carbon, ‘Deep Blue’ lifestyle A California-based non-profit founded in 2011, we use the mass appeal of “surf-culture” to inspire and activate people all around the world to start living a sustainable lifestyle. Sustainable Surf’s globally-recognized programs – The ECOBOARD Project, SeaTrees, Deep Blue Events, Waste to Waves and Deep Blue Life – provide the onramps that make that vision a reality. We use a “systems change” approach to protect ocean health – by catalyzing the radical transformation needed to switch industries to using ocean-friendly materials, ending plastic plastic pollution and restoring coastal ecosystems to reverse climate change.

We are a nonprofit organization operating a space that provides refuge and a safe space to rest or sleep undisturbed for Portland's unhoused community who cannot access affordable housing or shelter. We exist to awaken social and politcal groups to the importance of safe undisturbed sleep. Our purpose is to create a placewhere unhoused people can rest or sleep without being rousted by police or private security and without being under the threat of violence...

The mission of the Ladybug CDH Foundation is to raise awareness of the birth defect congenital diaphragmatic hernia and to raise money to donate towards research and as financial assistance to families in the Pacific Northwest affected by CDH.

BDMHC is a all-volunteer nonprofit organization that provides shooting, hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities for US military veterans. We serve veterans recovering from and learning to adjust to life with spinal cord injuries (SCI), traumatic brain injuries (TBI), and post-traumatic stress (PTS). Helping our honored veterans find their “new normal". We are a Community Partner with the James A. Haley VA Hospital's Adaptive Sports Program. We also work with the United States Special Operations Care Coalition. Along with these two groups, we work with several other veteran-support agencies to bring in veterans that they support in their programs.

We’re in the midst of an epidemic. Our young women are bombarded with images and messages that glorify perfection as thin and beautiful. In some instances, they also have inadequate education on the merits of healthy, active, nutritious living. As a result, our young women are falling short--failing to realize how extraordinary they are. Instead they focus on everything they are not. We empower girls and women by providing them with resources, opportunities and experiences to use physical movement as a tool to build confidence and self-worth.

The Simon Keith Foundation is dedicated to providing financial support primarily to youths who have undergone a life-saving organ transplant who desire a return to an active and healthy lifestyle. In addition to helping people with their non-medical expenses, the Foundation strives to increase organ donor registration through public awareness campaigns.

THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO AID, ASSIST, PROMOTE, ADVOCATE AND DEVELOP SUPPORT OF THE PUBLIC PARK FACILITIES, RECREATIONAL PROGRAMMING AND COMMUNITY SERVICES, CULTURAL ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING VISUAL PERFORMING AND PUBLIC ART AND CIVIC EVENTS IN THE REDWOOD CITY COMMUNITY. TO ADVOCATE, ADVANCE, AND DEVELOP SUPPORT FOR PARKS, RECREATIONAL PROGRAMMING, COMMUNITY SERVICES, CULTURAL ACTIVITIES, AND THE ARTS IN REDWOOD CITY AND SURROUNDING UNINCORPORATED AREAS.
